Inttimo shave kreme - sensual bath by Wet Lubricants - review by Cori

Inttimo Kitty and total body Shave Kreme's name says it all. It's a smooth shaving cream that can be used for intimate areas as well as legs and underarms. This product worked well on all areas, although for the price I mainly used this kreme for my "kitty". Men could use this product as well, assuming they won't mind smelling a little bit fruity afterwards. This kreme would be great for any time you want a close shave with limited irritation.

This kreme has a long list of ingredients, in short it contains both parabens and glycerin. Anyone who has a wheat or oat allergy should avoid this product. On the plus side, it contains Aloe Vera and Vitamin E to help soften and soothe skin.

Wet's shave kreme is supposedly "extra thick", although I didn't think it was very thick at all. My hair conditioner and body washes are much thicker than this product.

It's easily poured from the tube. It does feel smooth and silky and applies easily to the desired areas. Despite how thin it feels once its applied, its staying power is very good-- even in a steamy, hot shower setting. The thinness of this kreme makes razor clean-up during and after shaving a piece of cake.

If you use this product outside of the shower, it leaves no sticky residue behind.

The scent of this product is forbidden fruit. It's light, sweet, and smells amazing! It's not a very strong aroma, but it's definitely noticeable. It will leave a light scent lingering on your skin after use, but nothing overwhelming. I normally don't like the overpowering, artificial scent of shave creams, but Wet did a good job on this scent-- it's my favorite thing about this product!

I was worried that this product would rinse off easily in the shower when I realized how thin it felt, but it held up long enough to get the job done in a hot shower. There's no need to reapply, but it does take a decent amount to coat most areas, I used a quarter sized amount for my intimate area. It rinses off my body and my razor nicely.

The best parts of this product are the smell and its smoothness. The smooth formula is what allows this kreme to give such a close shave, since the razor glides over it with ease.

The whole rash-free claim? For me, it didn't work out so well. I prefer other brands when it comes to intimate shaving. Though I didn't always get a rash after using this, I got them more frequently than while using other products. That being said, I do have slightly sensitive skin and it may be reacting to the perfumes or any number of the ingredients in this product.

Inttimo's kreme comes in a bottle with a flip top. The entire label is different shades of purple. The label on the front says "Inttimo by Wet Rash Free Kitty and Total Body Shave Kreme, forbiiden fruit scent with Aloe Vera and Vitamin E." There are warnings on the back label including "while this product is rash free for most consumers, a small percentage may be sensitive to an ingredient. Test a small area before use and if rash or irritation develops, discontinue use immediately."

The directions: Gently apply to wet skin before shaving, then rinse.

Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Aloe Barbadensis (Organic Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Stearalkonium Chloride, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Wheat Amino Acids, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba)Seed Oil, Silk Amino Acids, Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5), Avena Sativa (Oat), Kernal Extract, Allatoin, Stearyl Alcohol, PEG-75 Lanolin, Glycerin, Cetyl Alcohol, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate (Viatmin E Acetate), Fragrance (Parfum), Tetrasodium EDTA, PEG-8 Dimethicone, PEG-8 Ricinioleate, Phenoxyenthanol, Methyparaben, Ethylparaben, Citric Acid.

You can choose from either a 1.5 ounce tube or 8 ounces. I would recommend testing out the smaller size before you commit to the larger tube.

I prefer Coochy Cream over Inttimo's Kitty Kreme any day. I loved the smell of this shave kreme and it did moisturize my skin a tad. But for me, personally, the cons far outweigh the pros.

While I thoroughly enjoyed the smooth texture and the clean shave, my sensitive skin did get razor burn and rashes after using this product despite the claims to be rash-free. Once you factor in the parabens and perfumes (and just general long list of ingredients), this product just isn't worth it for me.
