Oh my! I smell so nice!

Who doesn't like foot rubs and things that smell like awesome? If you're into either one of those things, this is an amazing product for you. I was surprised by the delicious scent, how well it worked for foot massage, and the wonderfully soft skin it leaves behind. I'm hooked, and you will be too.

Use

Foot Foreplay is a deep moisturizing massage lotion. It can be used for all of those sensual foot rubs that everyone loves. You can get a wonderful foot rub from your partner as a part of foreplay, or just as a sweet little treat. This lotion helps to soften feet, and provides a velvety massage experience. It proves enough grip for deep foot massages.

However, the uses for this wonderful product don't end there! Feet aching after a long day of work? Give yourself a luxurious foot massage! Hands feeling dry and rough? A little of this stuff will soften them right back up! In fact, anywhere you need softening is a great area to use this product. It's great for elbows, knees, and any other place you have skin.

While it is a massage lotion, I wouldn't suggest it for back or full body massages. It doesn't have enough glide for that, and massage oils would tend to work better for these types of massage. The small tube of it wouldn't last too long for such a wide area of uses. Intimate Organics does make a great massage oil if you find yourself loving the high-quality, organic ingredients.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Foot Foreplay is a thick, rich consistency with a very velvety and smooth texture. It reminds me a lot of regular cocoa or shea butters. It comes out of the tube quite easily and is very easy to dispense the right amount needed. When rubbed in, it becomes silky and velvety, but not slippery in any way. After a few minutes of rubbing, it beings to absorb into the skin and leaves behind a wonderful soft feeling. It isn't greasy or oily, but does leave a slight waxy feeling on the skin after use. While most people may see this as a disadvantage, it isn't in this case. The very slight waxy residue isn't sticky and helps to seal in the moisture.


Ingredients: Aqua, Caprylic/capric triglycerides, Glycerin, Cetyl alcohol, Glyceryl stearate, PEG-100 stearate, Aloe barbadensis leaf juice, Dimethicone, Glyceryl stearate, Shea butter, Aroma, Jojoba seed oil, Triethanolamine, Benzophenone 3, Methylisothiazolinone, Phenethyl Alcohol . . . and the list keeps going and going after that.

It also includes: Goji Berry, and Lemon Grass. I have the Cocoa Bean and Goji Berry scent and read through the ingredient list a bunch of times and was surprised to not find any cocoa or cocoa butter, even though the scent it there.

All of these ingredients are certified 100% organic. It is free of parabens, DEA, and is pure vegan. The likelihood of developing a reaction to this product is very slim.

Taste / Aroma

I purchased the "Sensual" scent of Cocoa Bean and Goji Berry. The other two scents were out of stock, so I chose this one because I had to have some of this stuff. I'm not a fan of chocolate or sweet, chocolate scented things. I wasn't expecting to like this scent as much as I do, though! The scent reminds me a lot of my favorite Ghirardelli Midnight Reverie Chocolate with 86% cocoa content. It's deep, rich, and has a hint of a berry smell. This scent isn't overly sweet or sugary. It's incredibly sensual and I can't get enough of the scent! I plan to purchase the Intimate Organics Massage Oil in the same scent, as well.

When I first opened the tube, I could smell the lotion pretty well. I applied some to my hands and the scent got a little stronger. Even though the scent is mildly strong, it isn't overpowering. Even after the lotion has been absorbed into the skin, the scent still remains, but fades to a much lighter one. I'm impressed. I love it. I've actually gotten compliments from people when I've used it on my hands or arms.

This product says not to ingest it. While it would be awesome if it tasted like it smelled, it's not something you should eat. Keep this in mind for foot massages during foreplay. It's not going to cause you any serious harm if a little is licked off of the skin, but it's not meant for eating, even though it smells delicious.

Performance

This foot massage lotion provides a velvety glide that lasts for about 10-15 minutes. If you're going to be doing extended foot massages, you may want to use a massage oil, as this stuff absorbs into the skin and becomes less slippery after a short amount of time. This is an advantage when using it for other areas, or just as a foot moisturizer. It won't leave your feet super slippery and have you slipping and sliding all over the floor.

It's a great moisturizer for rough or very dry skin. Personally, my skin is super dry. The slight waxy residue it leaves is comparable to that of other intensive moisture products. It does an amazing job of locking in the moisture and softness without being overly sticky. If you're not into the feeling afterwards, it is easily washed off with soap and water.

The scent is one of my favorite things about this product. It claims to be an "aromatherapy" scent, and it certainly is. I feel incredibly relaxed when I'm using this. My love of this scent has only made me want to try the other scents by Intimate Organics.

For hands and feet, I've only used about a dime sized amount each time. The 150ml tube should last for quite a while. If you're using this on larger areas, or on a daily basis, you may be able to get about a month's worth of use out of the convenient tube.

Packaging

The packaging is incredibly discreet except for the word "Foreplay" on the front of the label. However, due to the lighter font against a light background, it's not the first thing someone would see if they caught a glace of it. I love carrying it around in my purse with me for when my hands feel dry, and I don't worry about anyone being suspicious. The screw-top on this tube makes it great for travel. It won't leak everywhere like pumps and flip-top containers can.

Special Features

This product will do a number on rough feet. You won't need to run out and get pedicures. It's also great for moisturizing hands, and tattoos. After using it on my hands, I've found that my cuticles look nicer because of it.

I still can't get over the amazing scant of this stuff. I actually use it for a hand lotion more than I do a foot massage cream. If I use it at work, I'm bound to get several compliments from customers dying to know what it is I'm wearing. I love it! I've used it pretty often for a while now and still feel like I won't have to buy any for a couple of months because a little goes a long way. Oh, I love the foot rubs, too.

My feet get really dry in the winter when I'm wearing socks most of the time, and I may try this for the dry cracked skin.

May I ask you a question? Does this (if you know) work as well as Bath and Body Works Body Butter? That's what I use on my feet (and a lot of other parts of my body) now and I just wonder if it's comparable, better or not quite as moisturizing.
