Foot foreplay - lotion by Intimate Organics - review by Miss Cinnamon

Intimate Organics Foot Foreplay lotion is primarily intended for foot massages. Despite the "Foreplay" in the name, the foot rub doesn't necessarily need to be before intimate activities. The lotion can be used anytime a foot rub is desired. My favorite occasion for a footrub is after we go on a long walk together. Likewise, it can be used for a delightful massage after a long day at work, as foreplay, or any other excuse you can find for a delicious foot rub.

The lotion is also not restricted to foot massage. I have found it to be a wonderful overall moisturizer. If you have dry hands, make sure to rub a bit of lotion into your hands before you give your lover a foot rub. The results are pretty fantastic. For this reason, the lotion does wonders to soften tough soles on the feet and leaves feet silky smooth and soft.

Foot Foreplay lotion is a bit thicker than regular lotion, with a creamy consistency. A gentle squeeze easily delivers the desired amount. Depending on the skin it is being applied to, you may not need much at all. Drier skin will require a little more lotion, normal skin, a little less. Rubbing it between the palms, the lotion goes on like a thin butter, and stays slick for a little while. After a few minutes, it absorbs into the skin, leaving you soft and smooth with no sticky or greasy remnants.

I received the Relaxing scent, which is a lemongrass and coconut scent. I previously reviewed a different Intimate Organics product of the same scent, which smelled strongly first of lemon, then faded into a more coconut-y smell. Be aware that the foot massage lotion, though the name of its scent is the same, smells quite different. It contains traces of lemon, but mostly of coconut and, surprisingly, cinnamon. After a good foot rub, the feet smell pleasantly of cinnamon buns. Despite the delicious aroma, this lotion is not intended for ingestion.

Once applied, the lotion does not dry out. Rather, it absorbs into the skin over time. If used for a foot massage without taking breaks, only a small application (about the size of a nickel to a quarter depending on the size of the foot) is required to smooth away the friction. The lotion cleans up remarkably well. Just a warm water rinse will get it off the skin, and there is no prolonged feeling of greasiness after washing.

The lotion arrives as just the tube of lotion inside the mailing box. There is nothing more explicit than an exposed tummy on the tube. Except for the "Foot Foreplay" product name on the tube, the lotion is rather discreet and safe to leave out on your bedside table. The first time that you use this lotion, you will need to unscrew the cap and remove the safety seal before you can squeeze lotion out. This ensures that your product has not been tampered with. Brief instructions are on the back of the tube.

Take note that airplanes do not allow gels (including lotions) that exceed 3 oz. in volume, so leave this lotion behind when you leave for your getaway, or it may very well be confiscated. If you absolutely must take this lotion with you, pour some into a smaller, empty container.

Intimate Organics products all tout 100% Organic Ingredients. This lotion in particular contains a variety of organic extracts and ingredients such as aloe.

I've never really counted myself as a "foot person", whatever that means. I'm a bit of a germophobe. It was a challenge for me to actually touch his feet, never mind give him a full foot massage. However, when your partner's toes smell like cinnamon buns, it's hard to say no. I ended up massaging his feet, up his ankles, and his calves as well. He reciprocated the favor, and the Foot Foreplay lotion is very pleasant on the receiving end. I have only received foot rubs once or twice before. The addition of lotion makes the massage slicker and more sensual. This lotion will definitely be seeing more use from us.
