Foot foreplay - lotion discontinued by Intimate Organics - review by Alicia

I love foot massages, they're a perfect ending to a long day. When I saw this cream I knew I had to purchase it. Intimate Organic's Foot Foreplay is a thick luxurious cream that pampers your feet all while smelling deliciously like cocoa beans and goji berries. Now, we weren't quite sure what goji berries are before we bought this, so I wasn't sure how this would end up smelling. It's called their "Sensual" scent so I was hoping for something romantic. I think it smells like those raspberry creme filled chocolates that you get in boxes of chocolate. It is a quite romantic scent, it's the kind of warm scent that makes me want to get nice and cuddly with my husband.

I'm absolutely in love with all of the Intimate Organic products. Foot Foreplay is no exception. The smell is wonderful and noticeable without being too overwhelming. You can smell it on your skin even hours after applying. I also love that they're such natural products. It contains shea butter, soya bean oil, and sweet almond oil plus a blend of certified organic extracts. It's vegan and paraben and DEA free. I also love the look of their tubes. It's a nice green tube that stands on its cap with a photo of a woman's stomach and a leaf with dew drops. It's a very sensual look while still being discreet enough for me to have around my kids. (There is the bottom of a breast at the top of the label though, but there's no nipple showing or anything.)

Foot Foreplay is super thick and extremely moisturizing. It makes for a great foot massage as it really massages deep down. It lasts about maybe 10 minutes before being fully rubbed in if you use a lot, like for a foot massage. If you like to give or receive super long foot massages you can still give a great massage even once this is rubbed in since it leaves your skin feeling silky smooth and your hands will glide over it easily. It does leave a slight greasy residue. Nothing that bothers me on my feet but if I rub the excess into my skin it stays a bit greasy and shiny for a while. It's never been enough that I've felt the need to wash it off, though my husband does. He's picky like that though and can't stand a lot of thicker creams. Even he doesn't mind it on his feet though, and I think he's quite happy with the longer and deeper foot massages that he gets when I use this.

I've also used this just to moisturize my own feet. This is especially nice if you've been out at the beach or something and feeling pretty weather beaten and bothered from walking in sand all day. When I use it this way and just use a small amount I can get it rubbed in in a minute or two. I then have softened and soothed feet all day. Foot Foreplay doesn't have to be just for feet either. You could use this all over your body wherever you feel the need for some extra moisturizing, and it'd last long enough for a short body massage. Just beware that it will leave a slight greasy residue though and for me I'd rather just use it on my feet or for dry elbows.

The glide of this moisturizer can make for some pretty sensual foot massages. It takes the regular feel of a foot massage and just boosts it up a bit because there's no friction. It warms quickly, so there's no cold lotion to get in the way of the massage. The cream feels so silky and smooth as you rub and caress your partner's feet that it makes it enjoyable for the giver as well. It makes foot massages a lot easier and I find that I'm able to apply more pressure without feeling like I am. If I apply pressure with my hands on each side of my husband's foot I can just slide up to his toes without any extra effort. This ends up allowing me to give a foot massage without having sore hands afterward.

If possible I love this foot lotion even more! It's the end of summer, my feet are feeling pretty dry and roughed up from all the flip flop wearing and walking on the hot sandy beaches. Foot Foreplay has been a miracle worker for my feet. Not only does it feel absolutely amazing while it's being applied but it also gets rid of all the dry peeling skin and leaves my feet feeling more moisturized than regular lotions or creams can do. My feet even still feel good the next day, while when using other lotions I feel the need for more after I wake up in the morning. The foot foreplay leaves my feel feeling lovely all day long.

My husband isn't much of a fan of this though. The scent lingers, which is a plus for me, but not for him. He doesn't like that his hands smell like this lotion after he massages my feet. Luckily he's kind enough to do it anyway and just scrubs his hands well after using it, which gets rid of most (but not all) of the scent he says. I love the scent though and I don't even feel the need to wash it off at all after applying.
