On Cloud Nine
This is such a great candle not only for massaging but just to use a room fragrance. We love the scent we got makes us hungry for cookies and milk.Published: December 10, 2010

This candle was amazing. It is made by lelo. I must tell you I was afraid that the wax was going to burn me or my wife. I was very pleased that when the candle was blown out the wax did not burn us. The wax in this candle was great I was able to give a long pleasurable massage. My wife does not like to blow candles out so she uses what is called a snuffer to put the flame out. It saves the wick.
This candle is made out of soy wax and the scent I received was vanilla and creme. My wife loves the scent. She says it smells like vanilla cookies. This candle is 5.3 fl. oz. This candle weights 16.5 oz.
When removing the sliver lid of the candle it has a white soft foam insert and a piece of ribbon that says lelo on it. To remove the foam just pull on the ribbon and it will pop up so you can remove it. Underneath it is your candle I was kind of disappointed at first my wick was broken so it was harder to lite it.
On the back of the packaging it states how to use this candle in five different languages. Inside the box stuck to the side is a lelo massage candle warning book. That is also in five different languages. The languages are English, Deutsch, French, Spanish, and Italian.
The box this candle comes in is black. When I opened the box I pulled out the candle it's in this nice porcelain container. The lid is silver with an orange reddish loop for removing from the candle. On the front of the candle container it says lelo in sliver lettering. The black cardboard box can hold your candle but you really don't need it. When the candle is empty you can reuse the container.

We lite this candle and let it burn for about 15-25 minutes before you we used it. I poured the wax into my hand and then applied it to my wife's body. This wax was not greasy and it soaked into her skin nicely. I was able to get about a 5-10 minute massage out of it which was great. Then it was my turn and boy let me tell you what if you like a deep soothing massage this is the way to go. If you don't want to use this to massage with it really makes the room smell good.

This is a great, lovely way to unwind after a hard day of work. We love the scent and how we are able to give each other a massage and be romantic at the same time.

I got the Vanilla and creme de cacao for myself and husband, and got his parents the Snow pear and cedarwood. I like the vanilla one, but the scent isn't very strong and I can't get it to burn evenly for the life of me. I can't remember exactly what the snow pear smelled like now, but I do remember being glad I got the other one.

How would you describe in your own words what the Black Pepper & Pomegranate smells like? And the Snow Pear & Cedarwood? Vanilla & Crème de Cacao? Will Vanilla & Crème de Cacao ever come back in stock? I hope so! I'm having trouble deciding if I want one of these or an Afterglow candle...

I've only got the Vanilla and Creme de Cacao, but to me it smells like a very subtle light, crisp vanilla, and some subtle hints of white chocolate. I really can't quite put my finger on anything more specific than that, but I can tell you that I do enjoy the scent quite a bit. It always smells very cool, like temperature wise. I'm not sure why, but I really like it.

I have Snow Pear and Cedarwood. It's a very light, fresh scent and kind of reminds me of soap. The cedar is stronger than the pear.
