Snow Pear and Ceder Flickering massage candle is a great mood setter.

Snow pear and Cedarwood Flickering Touch Massage Candle is a sensual massage candle from Lelo. It has a warm long lasting glow and pleasant scent. I like to use this for massage, to add ambiance to a room, or for my own personal use. It is all natural and burns up to 36 hours.

extremely useful review
My box from Eden arrived in a plain box from “Web Merchants,” and the candle inside was wrapped in recyclable brown paper. The candle came in an attractive black box from Lelo with all the information written on it. The black glass of the candle is marked with elegant silver lettering that labels it as Lelo Flickering Touche Massage Candle and lets you know what scent it is. The container is made of glass so the light diffuses through it and creates a warm and soft glow. The silver, metal top is durable and has a small plastic circle screwed on the top. You can put the candle out by just putting the cap back on it. It is 5.3 ounces with a 77mm diameter by 86.9 mm height.

Flickering Touch Massage Candle is designed to add ambiance and set the mood when lit and to melt down to a silky oil to be used on the skin. It is slow to burn and for me it takes about twenty minutes for the candle to burn down enough wax to use. The container is made of glass so the light diffuses through it and creates a warm and soft glow. The wick is thick (I am not sure what it is made out of) so the candle burns very bright. I like to light it when I take a bath and let it melt down while I am relaxing. It is a natural soy candle and is non-greasy. I use it all over my body. It is wonderful after a bath to soften the skin. I also like to use it for massage on my husband after a long day at the office. The burn down time gives us time to talk and relax together. The container is very discreet too. I keep it my living room or on my bedside without any worries and add some sophistication to my less than sophisticated house.

The wax is soy based with Shea butter, apricot oil and fragrance. When the candle is cool the wax has a soft, pliable texture and is oily to the touch. It can be used as a moisturizer even in this state. I just run my fingers along the top and rub it into my hands. The scent is strongest when it is cool and can be used as a solid perfume. When it is melted down, it is very silky in texture. To me it feels more like watered down lotion then it does oil in consistency. It is very silky and clear when burned down. In my experience the oil isn't as hot as other massage candles and melts at a cooler temperature. I use about a quarter size portion on my husband's back for a massage. It does absorb fairly quickly, and I find I need to reapply the oil every ten minutes.

I purchased the Snow Pear and Cedarwood Flickering Massage Candle and find the scent to be crisp. It smells like very sweet cedarwood; it is a clean smell. When it is melted down the scent doesn't seem as strong and creates a subtle scent in the room. I like the smell as I don't enjoy overly sweet or overly harsh scents. I do not recommend burning this to add scent to a room.

The candle is advertised as burning down in 36 hours, but this is if you optimally burn the candle. It should be burned an hour minimally. Anything less will cause the candle to start digging a hole and you won't get the full use of it. Unfortunately I didn't burn mine for the full hour, and now I am dealing with a crater. The excess wax can be turned in or scraped down to melt the next time you burn it. If there is too much, you want to remove it and melt it down in a dish.

If you spill it, the wax is very soft and can be scraped up and thrown away. I do get run off down the side of mine because I am bad at pouring, apparently. I just wipe it away with a rag. It hasn't stained any clothing or rags.

It is all natural with a base of soy wax, Shea butter and apricot kernel oil. I have very sensitive skin and haven't experienced any trouble with this item, and my husband hasn't experienced a break out. We also have respiratory allergies and this candle doesn't trigger them.

Safety disclaimer. Use candle common sense! Do not burn unattended. Do not burn near flammable shit like your curtains, face or gasoline soaked papers. Don't play with matches kids! Lastly please don't try to eat this. I don't think it would kill you but I don't think it is good for you either.
