Hot love - massager by Cal Exotics - review by MamaDivine

The "Hot Love" heat activated massager pads are great for so many things. I cannot say enough about this product! Firstly, they are about the size of a full palm, so they are decently sized. (Plus, you can't beat TWO for one pricing!) I have really bad muscle spasms, joint pain and other afflictions that keep me in an overall "blah" state. More times than not, the LAST thing I want hubby to do is to touch me because I'm in so much pain. However, these little guys are GREAT for a slew of things, including to help me get in the mood!

These little guys are great for getting in the mood, soothing an ache or even during playtime! Simply remove them from box, unwrap, and snap! Simple as 1,2,3! When you "snap" or gently press on the metal disk within these massagers, this activates a chemical reaction within the liquid inside the massager. Instantly bringing your lifeless, limp, cool massager pad into a warming (up to 100+ degrees) massager that will melt your stress away! The warmth usually sticks around for roughly 45 minutes. If they become "hard", massage the crystals a bit to soften it up. When it starts to fully cool, it will become rock hard. (Read Below for how to "deactivate").

For getting in the mood: My husband loves to test the waters with me. He'll entice me with a soothing massage. Well what woman would say no to that!? He can use these with or without lubricants or massage oils. The soft vinyl material is great even without. If I'm willing and able (depending on my pain levels), more times than not, these little guys will bring me around and things will start to heat up. If not, then I can honestly say that it will put me to sleep and make me able to rest without so many aches.

If you want to use during foreplay or playtime, you can use these palm-sized massagers on "hot spots" around the body to arouse your senses and increase arousal. Try rubbing them along the inside of your partners thighs. You can also (depending on his or hers level of comfort with this) run them along the base of the penis and around the sack or lips. Make sure that, if you try this, you do not leave them to sit on the genitals for too long. It can cause a burn or discomfort.

CLEANING/CARE: To "deactivate" the warming crystals inside the massagers, simply place in a pan of boiling water. You CAN keep the water boiling while they are in the pan. What I do is, take a washcloth and cover them before placing them inside the pan. This will prevent any kind of "burning/damage" to them in case they come in contact with the sides or bottom of the hot pan. (I don't think it is supposed to burn/damage it but I can't say for sure). Also, make sure to constantly move around and turn them in the pan to make sure that it is boiling evenly. Once they are back to "liquid form", simply remove with tongs and place on a dry towel. Towel dry them and lay them to the side to cool. DO NOT STORE UNTIL COMPLETELY COOLED! Reusable. Simply "re-click/snap" the metal disc to reactivate.

I love these items and those that are similar to them. I have at least 5 at my house at any given time, and quickly restock in the event that I notice that they are starting to "lose their luster".

CONS:
The only bad thing that I would have to say about these is that after a few months (maybe more or less, depending on frequency of use) they tend to lose their level of warmth. Of course, with anything, after a while it will wear down/wear out or just simply stop working. I use mine roughly 1 or 2 times a day.

These are GREAT for any kind of gift! Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries, bridal shower gifts, baby shower gifts, "just because" occasions, valentines day gifts etc etc.
