Use:

Hot Love by California Exotic is a wonderful new twist on those boring old heating pads. You know the kind, the big, bulky, dudes who were always too large to incorporate into a sensual massage. Hot Love is perfect for massage alone or with a partner. Even a headache can be eased with a little Hot Love. Hey, it's just all around versatile.

The kit contains two, round, liquid filled pillows. When activated, the liquid crystallizes from a chemical reaction which causes the entire pad to heat up to about 129 degrees Fahrenheit. Once heated, the pads can be used on sore muscles or glided across the skin for an intimate massage.

Material:

Hot Love is nothing more than two clear, velvety smooth, vinyl pillows filled with a mystery gel. Before activation the gel is very thin and pliable. Once activated, the gel hardens to crystals which reduce flexibility but can still be kneaded. Once the pads cool, the crystals become too hard to flex and must be deactivated for further use.

Design:

Each round pillow is four by four inches and about 1/4 inch thick. One pillow has the word "Kisses" written in white whereas the other has the word "Hugs" written in white offsetting the hot pink, gel background.

Care:

To use, simply snap the metal disk inside the pillow to activate the gel into heating crystals. Heat will last about 30 minutes. After, boil the packs for 7 minutes making sure that the water does not evaporate from the pan, or until the crystals have become liquid once again. Remove with a spatula or tongs and be sure not to touch the packs at this point as they will be extremely hot and could burn you. Do not microwave as this will cause an explosion. The activating disk is metal which cannot be microwaved. Store in a drawer or the box in which the packs came in. If the packs leak, dispose of them. Keep them out of reach of children and pets. Contents are non toxic but could probably cause a bad stomach ache if ingested.

Packaging:

Hot Love arrives in a little black box adorned with XOXOXO's in pink. The back provides detailed instructions on use, care, and safety precautions. The box can be gift wrapped and is suitable for storage. In addition, this toy is travel friendly.

Performance:

A slight click of the metal disk, and my pouch began to crystallize and heat within seconds. The pads slide smoothly over my and my partners skin and provided us with soothing, deep tissue, heated, massage. Although they can be used on the genitals they are a little too warm for my tastes. Once the pads had cooled, I boiled them for about 7 minutes, removed them from the boiling water and allowed them to cool before storing them in the box they came in.

Unfortunately, these dried up and no longer worked. Yes, they lasted a while, but I really expected more from them. They're great while they last but sooner or later they will crystallize.
