Climax H2O - lubricant discontinued by Topco Sales - review by Cherrygirl

As usual, I was drawn in by the cool packaging and I figured that at that price I would be silly to not try it out. The bottle of Climax H2O is shaped like a laboratory test tube with a pump dispenser. Well, it is now my second favorite lube! I love the size of this bottle, you can tuck it right in the corner of your pantie drawer or even in your pillowcase. The pump at the top makes for very easy and clean dispensing. I also feel like it is "grown up" looking lube. It is not a wacky (pardon the pun) color with phallic looking fruits bursting on the side.


Climax H20 is light and not sticky at all. I am very sensitive so trying a new lube often comes with a bit of apprehension. I was very pleased when I didn't have an adverse reaction to the lube. There is no smell or flavoring added, so if you are looking for that, I would search for something else. There is not a bad taste to it per say, rather no taste at all. It is nice and clear with the occasional tiny bubble.


My husband says it makes him feel like he is a "sex scientist" LOL! Scientist or not it certainly helps defy the laws of physics and friction! Climax H2O is slippery without being slimy and lasts for much longer than other water based lubricants in my opinion. I have used this lube both with toys and with my husband and I can say that it gets wet and stays wet no matter how you use it. I would certainly give this as a gift and it seems like guys really dig the bottle design as well. Not that I am suggesting or condoning the use of the bottle in any manner other than dispensing lube, but it is shaped rather perfectly, if you know what I mean!

I bought this lube as a gift for my husband initially and we have continued to use it for several months and...we need a new bottle. I found that it worked exceptionally well for finger penetration. My husband is a big guy and each time he slid right inside. I also love the feeling of this lube on my nipples, give it a try!

Still Climaxing! I continue to use Climax H20 and I am never disappointed. You can tuck this sleek bottle anywhere, your purse, glove compartment...you never know when you may need it! I like the fact that the shape of the bottle is easily identifiable in the dark as well. I keep it in my top dresser drawer among other bottles of lube, etc. and I can just reach for it in the dark and not worry about grabbing the wrong bottle.

I must admit, I have started cheating on my Climax H20 a bit with a silicone lube, but I will never switch entirely. I continue to give this lube as gifts (yes, I have strange friends).

As someone posted on my last review, it would be nice to have a little stand for it at times because it just lays on its side and is difficult to get out of the bottle when you are running low. But, it is inexpensive enough, just buy more. Happy lubing!
