This is a good lube with a great consistency. It stays where you put it, and leaves you slick for a decent amount of time.

Use

Wet Synergy is a hybrid water/silicone based lubricant made by Wet. Perfect for both men and women, Synergy is thick enough to be useful for vaginal as well as anal sex anal sex, this lubricant is great for all couples, as well as for solo masturbation.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

This lubricant has a really interesting property, and that property is that it's a complete and total gel. That's right, it's as thick as a dollop of hair gel--and is far more viscous, so it doesn't run down your hand like gel does. This stuff stays where you put it, until you start rubbing. It does transform into a much more spreadable liquid, but it felt very thick even when it was rubbed to liquid, so if you're looking for something runny, keep on looking. However, if you leave it in place for a few minutes it will start to run (like if there's a gob on your bottle, it'll make its way down the side) but its staying power was impressive.

Synergy wasn't sticky or greasy, but I did have a bit of trouble with it. I found that when I first applied it, it was like using a slip-n-slide: smooth sailing. Unfortunately, a bit later, it was like going off the slip-n-slide into the grass, because it lost most of its lubrication. It lasted a similar amount of time to most water-based lubes, but didn't last as long as most silicone based lubes.

Taste / Aroma

This lube is totally odorless, even when you're nose deep in it, so if you're scent-sitive, you won't find this problematic. It does have a faintly sweet taste that many water-based lubricants have, but I didn't find it overwhelming. Granted, I wouldn't want to perform oral sex with this as my primary lubricant, but it's not entirely awful, and if a bit gets in your mouth (or you've got some on your fingers and no towel around), you won't be running for your toothbrush.

Performance

As I said a bit earlier in the review, it didn't last a ridiculously long time, but it's perfectly adequate for both anal and vaginal sex, though I'd be sure to use a bit extra when using it for anal sex to make sure you're thoroughly coated and won't dry out. I also found that if I used it on a compatible toy and didn't wash it, hours later the lubricant was still slick, so remember to wash your toys off, too.

After use you can wash it off rather easily--I needed to use soap to clean up, though, so if you're like me and can't stand to have lubricant on your skin post-sex, you will need to shower or use a good personal wipe. Luckily, though, it wasn't sticky or unpleasant in the least, so if you fall asleep after orgasm, you won't feel like you slept in maple syrup.

It worked okay in the shower, but I still prefer pure silicone lubricants as it does get rinsed away a bit too quickly for my tastes.

Packaging

This lube comes in a pop-top lid that's very easy to use, you flip it upside down, squeeze it and wait for your lube to emerge. The bottle itself is totally discreet; it's a shiny purple/pink bottle that reads, "Wet Synergy" in fairly large letters, and then, smaller, "Concentrated - 3X longer lasting, water+silicone lubricant" The back of the bottle has product info, but from a distance it would be totally unobtrusive. I would not recommend it for travel (unless you taped it closed) because the pop top could easily be pushed down in your luggage and you don't want your clothing covered in lube.

Those with glycerin sensitivities should definitely steer clear.

In addition, this is a hybrid water/silicone lubricant so I cannot wholeheartedly recommend this for silicone toys. I will say that my toys had no adverse reaction, but if you do choose to use this for your products, please do a spot test on your product before slathering it in lube.
Follow-up commentary
While this is a great lube, I'm always reluctant to use it with toys, since so many of them are made of silicone. Because of that, it just doesn't get much play in my household, which is a bit of a waste. It's still good, it's just... Not as good as a pure silicone or pure water-based lube.

You slip n slide often?

I, too, hate lube on me after the fun, but if it can wipe up with a wipe, then I guess it could be worse. I rarely pass out right after sex unless I have been thoroughly used up, so cleaning up post sex is no big deal. Great, funny review darling!

      Nope, it is just a mix of silicone and water based lubes. Some may not like the feeling of it but it will do no harm unless you are sensitive to the ingredients.
