Synergy hybrid lubricant - lubricant discontinued by Wet Lubricants - review by PeachieClean

I've got to say, this is the best lube I've e ver used. It is my ‘go-to' lube. I received a pouch of it in the mail, tried it out, then quickly made my way to the local porn shop to stock up. Sadly, they didn't actually carry it (let alone in bulk) so they had to order some for me. It was pretty exciting when it finally got here though…just in time for a visit from the boyfriend.



With this stuff, a little bit goes a long way. It lasts…and lasts…and lasts. It's pretty thick coming out of the packaging and we only needed about half of the sample pouch for one romp. Now, if a tiny sample pouch can give you two goes, imagine how much a bottle gets you! (Well, a few months for the boy and I with our appetites.)



I never did get around to tasting it, but it doesn't say "flavored" so I don't imagine it would be that great. It doesn't have a bad smell and has yet to stain anything it's gotten onto so far, and I'm sure it's gotten on nearly everything in the house by now. Yeah, we're a little bad.



I loved that it lasted a long time, but I also liked that it didn't leave me feeling dirty. A lot of lubes I've tried have left me with the "Okay, that was fun. Now I need to thoroughly scrub my lady-bits to get this nasty crap out" feeling. With Synergy I could just pass out if I felt so inclined. (And with my guy's habits, it's not often that I feel like staying awake after. I swear if we don't do at least four positions he's not happy!) It just leaves me feeling nice. I suppose you could compare it to how you feel after using a nice lotion. It just absorbs into your skin rather than leaving a greasy residue that you spend ten minutes scrubbing against your pants to get rid of.



One thing to remember, Synergy is a hybrid lube. It's both water *and* silicone based so it's probably a good idea to keep it away from any nice silicone toys you've got. If you really want to use synergy with your favorite toy, be sure to pick up some UNLUBRICATED condoms to cover your toy with first. Most lubricated condoms use a silicone based lube and most condoms are lubricated. Be very careful with what you buy or your toy may be rendered unusable. One thing I've always done when I switched lubes was to put some on the bottoms of the base of the toy (Or somewhere beyond where I'm using if the base-area is a different material) to check compatibility. Leave it on for a day and see how it looks. If it bubbles or seems to burn the toy at all I wouldn't use it.



Long story short, this is my favorite lube and I will continue to use it.

So, still love it. Got more today. I opened the bottle, rubbed the lube stuck to the little foil thing under the cap on the back of my hand, 20 minutes later it rinsed off. I didn't find the bottle hard to open or squeeze. I didn't notice any smell at all and it just kind of tasted like lube. Spot-testing on a pure silicone sample and so far there's nothing, but I'd still suggest testing on an insignificant part of your toy before using it with anything silicone.
