Synergy hybrid lubricant - lubricant discontinued by Wet Lubricants - review by purpletulip

The Wet Synergy lube can be used in multiple settings. I have used it for vaginal sex in the shower as well as in the bedroom. It can also be used for sex toys that are not made out of silicone. I have not tried it on any toys that are made out of silicone because I do not want to take the risk of ruining them, because the lube is a hybrid between water and silicone. I have not used this lube for anal sex yet, however I do not see any problems with it as the lube is quite slippery and long lasting.

When you first squeeze this lube out of the bottle it is rather thick, coming out in drops rather than being running. However, once you begin to rub it around a bit, it spreads out evenly and nicely. Although it is thicker when you first squeeze it out of the tube, if you squeeze it onto something vertical it will begin to run. Once the lube is spread out I would consider it to have a velvety texture. This lube stays in place very nice when in use including if you use it in a wet environment such as the shower. The downside to this is that it cannot simply be washed away with warm water like the package says. Unless I use soap and water to wash it away, my fingers still feel a little greasy after use.

There is a slight odor to this product if you put it up to your nose, however I can detect no odor when using it with my partner or on my own. I also can detect no odor after washing it away. I like this lube over some because they have a heavy odor, some even after washing the product away. I have not tasted this lube so I cannot comment on the taste of it.

With this lubricant a small drop usually does the trick for me. This is my first time using a hybrid lube, and overall I am pleased with the experience. I like to use this lube in the shower because it does not wash away easily, usually lasting the entire session without having to add more even when changing positions multiple times. I also like using this lube in the shower because it is not what I would consider easy to wash off. I need to wash this lube off with soap and water because I will feel greasy after using the lube if I just wash it off with water.

I have used this lube with toys on my partner as well. We have not put it on any of her silicone toys for fear of ruining them but it works great with the plastic ones.

The product that I purchased was the 1.9oz bottle. It comes in a small cylinder with a pop open top, much like a travel bottle of shampoo. The bottle itself is black fading to purple with the words "Wet Synergy" down the side. I would consider this bottle to be discrete if it was mixed in with toiletries but not if it was standing on its own. It is easy to get the product out, and there are directions on the label. However, I have experienced some leakage around the top of the bottle making the bottle slippery.
