The gift that keeps on giving, unfortunately

Gun Oil silicone lube is worth the purchase. It's a great, long lasting, slippery lube, but if you're looking for an easy cleanup this is not the lube for you.

Use

This silicone based lube, Gun Oil, is good for pretty much any use that you can think of for lube. It is great for anal sex and vaginal intercourse, and could be used for a special massage, as well. This lube is smooth and slippery enough that even the newest couple to anal sex could use Gun Oil and feel comfortable.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The texture and consistency of Gun Oil is excellent. It's very thin and smooth, not like the thick and pasty feel of cheap lube. Although Gun Oil is thin and smooth, it does feel a bit greasy/oily, and that greasy/oily feel lingers for quite some time, even after a good shower. For that reason, my husband and I only gave Gun Oil 4 stars, rather than 5.

Taste / Aroma

Gun Oil silicone based lube has no displeasing scent or taste whatsoever. In fact, it has no taste or smell at all.

Performance

Not much lube is needed for any kind of play. Two squirts is more than enough for anything when you're using Gun Oil. However, even after just 2 squirts, a good hot shower does not even clean off the lasting slipperiness of this lube.

Packaging

The packaging is great! I received the Gun Oil lube in the shipping box only, and the new bottles are clear plastic in the shape of a bullet. The top is now a new and improved squirt top that gives a small and sufficient amount of lube for one use: much better of a design than previous bottles shipped out.

Good review. I think it's good to make people aware that oil based lubes can be harder to work with when it comes to cleaning than water based.

      If you mean is it safe to use on them, yes. Even though it says "oil" it's a silicone-based lube, which is what's on a lot of lubricated condoms anyway.

      If you mean how well does it perform... we didn't think much of Gun Oil with or without condoms.
