The perfect lube for vigorous sex
Smooth and Slick has sold me on the very fact that it is perfect for vigorous vaginal and anal play. The lube does not stick or cake and I was left feeling rather refreshed. Cleanup though, is a bit of work.Published: July 10, 2008

I found myself running out of lube and quickly ordered some from Eden. I chose the Smooth and Slick Lube from California Exotic, for no other reason than, it had not been reviewed. When I pulled it out of the box, my first impression was "Wow, this thing is huge!" At 8 fluid onces, the bottle dwarfs my tiny 1 to 3 ounce lubricants. Now for the good part, I can use as much as I want without running out!
The lube is water-based and latex friendly. It can also be applied to any type of toy. I noticed that the consistency was runnier than Moist or Astroglide, but that the performance was superior.
I quickly pulled out my favorite dildo and lubed it up until it was as slick as can be. Insertion was a breeze and I found the lasting strength to be wonderfully powerful. After about 30 minutes of hard play (yes, this lube is great for hard play!) I found no need to reapply. I was impressed by the fact that I wasn't left aching from vigorous play. I'm the kind of girl who is very sensitive, and normally has to take it slow, so being able to kick up the heat was a dream come true! Also, this lube intensifies the sensations of light slapping against the skin. I added it to my buttocks and let myself go wild. It felt so good, I shivered.
Later, I decided to try the lube anally. I noticed that insertion was painful (more so than with other lubes) but that play felt fantastic! Afterwards, I was left pain free and (surprisingly) feeling better than when I had started! Some lubes are not slick enough, and therefor don't protect against friction within the anus. Smooth and Slick on the other hand, is a dream come true for anal play time!
Finally, clean up was a little tricky. Plain water would not wash this lube off and I was left itching! Yes, itching! I had to run to the bathroom and clean myself off with soap and water. Therefor, I would not suggest this lube for anything but home or hotel play as you need to wash it off thoroughly to avoid slight irritation.
I need to mention that this lube is not edible and cannot be used for oral sex. Please do not ingest this lube.

Experience
I took a chance with this lube and used it vigorously. Like I stated before, I'm extremely sensitive and can sometimes come out with friction burns or worse from vigorous play. Smooth and Slick protected me against this outcome, providing me with the opportunity to fulfill a few hidden desires and allow me to relax during play. Perhaps now, I can be a little more naughty. Oh the possibilities.

This lube lasted me a year and a half! That's right. It's a huge bottle and the stuff goes an extra long way. I highly recommend it!

Anyone had this lube stain cotton sheets?

CZBeen using this lube for a little while, and it seems to stain cotton sheets. I thought that was only an attribute of silicon lubes. Anyone else have this issue? -
No that one in particular but I have had a water based stain before. I just used some oxy clean or shout (whatever stain remover is in the cupboard at the time) and it usually takes care of it.
Or even just a pretreat with your reg degergent -

This is a good sized bottle of lube for the price! The "itching" part kind of bothers me a bit, but glad that hasn't been too much of an issue for you if you wash it off quickly. Would this be good for male masturbation, do you think, or is the consistency too thin?
Itching, hm. No other irritation though? Is the taste actually horrible, if one were to end up with a negligible amount in one's mouth?
That itching does not sound good. From your review it sound like it was only as it dried that it was a problem. I wonder which ingredient(s) might be causing that. It does seem like a pretty good deal, though. Thanks for the informative review!
Yes, I think it would be wonderful for male masturbation, as it's extremely slick. The consistency is not too thin thank goodness.
I did taste this lube and it tasted fine, but the bottle warns against ingestion, so it is not recommended.
Heartthrob, thanks! Always looking for something for the hubby that's a step above KY, and he's always careful about cleanup, so may have to give this a shot. It seems cost effective compared to most of the "hand job" lubes out there.

I really don't know. I did taste it and it tastes just fine; however, the bottle warns that the lube is not to be ingested.
this looks like a good lube, I'm just a little apprehensive about the "do not ingest" directions. Sometimes Oral sex happens after playing, but we'll see!
