The Fishnet Tank Top Dress by Coquette is a must have to all fishnet enthusiasts. I was a little weary about just how unforgiving this dress might be once I really had it on. They all look great on models and I have a few dimples here and there that I would rather not have stand out unnecessarily. I was pleasantly surprised, but now near as pleased as the hubby was. The first words out of his mouth were that I should wear it with a black bra and jeans when we are out, the second set of words were demanding that I go and try it on.

So try it on I did. I love my husband, aside from the fact that he is great for my ego, he is also honest with me about things. If something looks bad on me he will stutter around with uh, well, uh.. That was not the case with this dress, he really didn't have much of anything to say except "Come here." That is a whole other story in itself though. Let's just suffice it to say, I think he really likes this on me.

The dress itself is made of 100% Nylon that is netted together. It is more of a circular netting pattern. Unstretched it measures 31 1/2" in length and is approximately 17" across at the widest point in the front and in the back, so a total of 34".



The thong is a solid nylon material and is your basic thong underwear.



While it states that it is one size fits most, I sincerely doubt that this is true. I am 5'5" and weigh 120 lbs. My normal dress size is 3/5 and panty size is 5/6. I am a small 34B bra. I have plenty of room in this dress but even allowing for it to stretch to its comfortable maximum, I have to guess that it would not fit anyone comfortably above a size 11 or so.

Front and back, the dress is exactly the same cut. It doesn't really matter which way you put it on to start, although I would guess that eventually after wearing it you would have breast indentions to tell you which way you have been wearing it.




There is only the most basic of information on the tag, the name and the symbols for cleaning. The tag on the dress simply states to hand wash. I would suggest washing in cold water and a mild detergent, then allowing it to lay flat and dry to avoid damaging it.

This really is a nice dress and covers a few flaws successfully. It would look great as a swimsuit cover-up as well as pulled up a little with a tank or bra to go with jeans. I think that with a little imagination you can figure out plenty of ways to mix and match this to get the most out of it.
