Fishnet tank top dress - mini dress discontinued by Coquette - review by SMichelle

Basics:
The fishnet tank top dress is made by Coquette. This is a one size fits most garment that comes only in black.

The dress is versatile in that you can wear it both in and out of the bedroom. It looks fantastic when worn on its own, with nothing underneath, for some intimate play. It also looks lovely when worn over a brightly colored bra and panty set in the bedroom. But, that's not the only you can wear it -- you can also wear it over a camisole or even a basic dress for public wear. I've worn it all three ways, and it worked great for each purpose.

Material & Care:
This is made out of 100% Nylon.

The fishnet pattern here is small, as opposed to wide. The holes are too small for my nipples to pop through, for example. The material is stretchy, and it feels very durable. That being said, it is a net material, so it could still snag on things. So, be careful.

The material is also comfortable on my skin, causing no itchiness at all. I could quite easily sleep in this without having a single complaint. Also, the material does not seem to wrinkle at all, which is fabulous.

As for care, you're going to want to hand wash this in cold water and then let it hang dry. I throw a lot of my lingerie in the washing machine on the delicate cycle, despite what the instructions say, but I would not suggest that for this item.

Sizing:
This item is available in one size fits most.

Coquette's size chart says that the OSFM is meant to fit someone with the following measurements:
Cups: B
Bust: 36-38"
Waist: 28-30"
Hips: 38-40"

I wear a 34d bra, and have a 32" waist. My hips measure 40". So, technically, I'm a little above the size chart in certain areas. That said, I wasn't really worried about this not fitting me. Fishnet is usually very stretchy, so I was confident that I could make this work -- and I was right, I can.

It IS a little snug on me when I'm putting it on, but once I get it on, it's super comfortable. The length is also fabulous, as it covers my bum just perfectly.

I'd say that this piece could fit someone both smaller and a little larger than me, due to the stretch that the material offers.

Design:
There's not really a lot to say about the design here. This is a basic fishnet dress with smaller holes. It's designed to go on like a tanktop dress. It has a scoop neck, which is quite flattering, and wide straps.

The dress is bordered in a thicker black material, which I suspect is meant to keep the dress from rolling and fraying. That border does keep the dress from fraying, but the bottom rolls up on me sometimes. More specifically, I find that the bottom rolls up on me when I'm doing a lot of moving around.

Quality:
Pretty good, considering the price. There were a few loose threads on the seam bordering the piece, but that was easily fixed with a pair of scissors.
