The Intimate Foreplay Kit by California Exotic comes in two bright colors, the orange being almost uncomfortably bright, while the purple seems perfect and soft in the light. It comes with three interchangeable tips, allowing for several different types of play either during foreplay or intercourse. Truth be told, there is, in all actuality, only two tips (though the package says three), though they can be unscrewed so that you can use the “Intense Pinpoint Stimulator” (a bullet with five small nubs) on either your partner or yourself. The main bullet is awesome to use during penetration in doggy-style, though a trifle difficult during missionary.

The toy has a very nice velvety texture to it, which gave me a bit of a surprise. I was expecting hard plastic, because, well, it's made of plastic. There was no noticeable scent that I noticed, and I refrained from tasting it. The Gradual Curved Tip (three bumps in decreasing sizes positioned in a slight curve) is great for vaginal insertion during foreplay, reaching deep inside to get at your hot spots. The TPR silicone attachment strongly resembles a finger with soft silicone nubbies, and is my favorite. The vibrations are strong enough to achieve climax on the highest setting on the turn-based dial (albeit for some it might be too intense), and the lowest if great for gentler stimulation. It's a compact size, and very discrete, easily hidden under a pillow or in a drawer.

Some downsides of this toy are the fact that the attachments are not part of the actual vibrating element causing it to lack the sensation it could. The cord is very short, and doesn't really give you the amount of reach that other corded toys allow. Also it is a plug-in cord, so it is very easy to accidentally unplug while you're playing. It's not waterproof, so fun in the shower isn't really an option here. The battery casing is easily opened, almost too easily, especially during play.

Cleaning is very easy. You can either spritz it down with your favorite toy cleanser, or wash them with warm water and antibacterial soap. The Intimate Foreplay Kit is powered by two (2) AA batteries. Being plastic, you are able to use silicone, water-based, and oil lubricants.

    Very interesting shapes!
Unfortunately TPR silicone isn't able to be sterilized so make sure to use a condom.
I liked that your review was to the point and not fluffed with extra crap.

Just a side note...the toy has a velvet-cote on it over the plastic and you cannot use oil based lubricants with this material. And with the finger attachment you can only use water based lubricant since it is a TPR Silicone on there.

You can wipe it down with isopropyl alcohol to disinfect it...no boiling.
