A Little Tease......

A great little tease, this toy works great to get things started and gets your blood pumping. It works awesome in foreplay especially if you are tied down and blind folded!

Ladies start your engines!

Use

I think this vibrator is great as a beginning to foreplay. It stimulates the clitoris and outside of the vagina. If you are expecting an intense vibration, you will be disappointed. If you start off using this as a tease however, then move to something more intense (like a Hitachi) and you will be much more satisfied. This toy will work for most any lady, especially for someone who likes a change of pace. My husband likes to use it on me while I'm tied down as foreplay. It works great to get things started!

Material / Texture

The Voila is made of a soft smooth velvety coating that makes it feel great on your skin and more sensitive areas. It's nonporous and phthalates free. I don't think it has much of a smell or taste. The velvety coating is what makes this toy unique and can be for both beginners and more advanced users.
    • No odor
    • Smooth

Design / Shape / Size

The design is neat and it fits perfect between ones legs. The shape worked great for me and fits nicely in my average sized hands. I think it would work for both beginners and more advanced users. It is extremely easy to hide, discreet, quiet, smooth, and absolutely suitable for travel.

Functions / Performance / Controls

If you understand that the vibrations are mild and that this toy is best used to tease then you won't be disappointed. I have never gotten it to get me stimulated enough to have an orgasm, just turned on. For me the vibrations are just too mild for an orgasm. The vibrations are pulsating, multispeed, and escalating; so it does work for a great change of pace. They emulate from the tip down throughout the entire toy. The Voila also has a built in control pad but I think for me to use on myself the buttons are hard to push. The neat thing about this toy is that it is rechargeable and comes with a wall charger. It is not very noisy and is ultra discreet. It's also waterproof...BONUS!
    • Discreet sound
    • Easy to use
    • Rechargeable

Care and Maintenance

It is super easy to take care of. A quick scrub a dub dub in some soap and water cleans it right up. Its nonporous so any lubes should be okay to use with it.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store
Follow-up commentary
This toy has fallen out of the cycle of toys that we still use. It was just not powerful enough for me. Maybe if you are looking for a little tease then this could be the toy for you.

Just wanted to say that whether it's porous or not doesn't have anything to do with what lubricants can be used on it. It's the type of material that makes the difference. Since this is a velvet cote (plastic), all types of lubricant would work well. However, silicone is non-porous, and silicone lubricant is bad for it. Just a heads up.

Good review.

  • Should I get Voila OR Legamento? they are both on sale
    • I've never owned a clitoral stimulator I want to know which of these is best...I do like to take my hand over my whole self and rub up and down to get off I like a hard surface covering myself I even like to do it on a chair corner, toilet seat, anyone else? perhaps this info makes a diffrence in which to get,not sure tho
    • I haven't tried the Legamento but I have tried the Voila, which is better than I thought it would be.

If you want something that's rechargeable I'd say go for the Voila, if that doesn't matter than read through all the reviews and see which flaws are commonly addressed for each and see which you can live with. That's how I usually decide.

The good thing with the Voila is it's much smaller and rechargeable, those were deciding factors for me.

  • Voila - Can it get you there?
    • I've been thinking about purchasing the Voila because it fills most of my needs. Small, discreet, waterproof, supposedly quiet, and rechargeable-- having to put in/remove batteries can kill the mood for me at times.

The only thing I'm worried about is its power. It gets good reviews, but most reviewers seem to agree it's good for teasing with less mentions of orgasms.

I have a lot of trouble with orgasm and don't want to spend money on a toy that has shy hopes of helping me.

Not to get too personal, but anyone here own a Voila that feels it is a good climax toy?
    • Have you read the reviews on it? Those are very helpful since they come from the community too.
    • I just got mine and was surprised at how powerful it was, especially for the size. I actually had really low expectations because of the reviews but it far surpassed them. I've had 2 orgasms while using it, though I was very aroused at the time which may be why.

Of course it's no Hitachi or Fairy Wand, but it *is* good. If you're someone that's sensitive and doesn't require the crazy power the Hitachi/Fairy puts out, then I'd say go for it. If you do, I'd say go for something else.

I really think it depends on personal preference.

I have to agree with TheWAHM, it depends on the person and the type of vibrator.

I have a favorite clitoral vibrator which is the Passion Bullets from California Exotics, and then my new favorite g-spot vibrator is Fonzie from Feelztoys.
