Voila - clitoral vibrator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by juba

I absolutely LOVE this vibrator. It (She), is by far, the best of the many vibrators I have tried. I frequently experience libido problems (due mainly to prescription medication) and often find climax hard to achieve, but when using my Voila (whom I lovingly refer to as Viola) I have never had this experience. My fiancee has been on a mission to find me a guaranteed orgasm-in-a-box, and has purchased multiple bullets, rabbits, dildos, etc., many of which I thought were okay until Viola arrived on our doorstep. I use her alone or during intercourse when both he and I benefit from her, although intercourse would be a little easier if she was just a TINY bit smaller. I can usually achieve either internal or external orgasm with her aide. I usually charge her every other use, but she is capable of lasting longer then that. Only once have I ever had her run out of battery, and never on a full charge. In that instance, a separate disposable battery back up would have been nice, but I would definitely take the ac adapter over disposables any day.

I have never had the issue of an odor from Viola, and I particularly enjoy the hard-but-velvetey texture. I think this may be what contributes to my success with her, along with the the pointed shape.

The pointed wedge shape is probably my favorite thing about Viola. I think that specifically targets clitoral stimulation, helping me along. The wedge-like portion makes it easier to hold than another toy with a pointed tip, like a bullet. She is definitely convenient for travel and storage because she is so small, the only part that takes up a little extra space is the charger, but I have so many different chargers plugged in for my laptop, cell phone, etc, that 1 more is not even noticed.

We are currently living with my parents, and while she is slightly louder then would be optimal, she is easily quieted by a towel or blanket. I would consider myself to have been a beginner until finding her, which helped me realize what I do and do not enjoy about my other vibrators, but I have never found her to be difficult to use. The 2 buttons are very easy to operate, and no fidgeting is required to turn her on or off. She is waterproof, but I have never tried this feature out. Of the 7 settings, I usually only use about 2 or 3 of them- the others feel a little redundant.

I wash her with soap and water after each use, and wipe her down again with a cleaner wipe before each use. I sort of pat her dry and air dry her quickly before storing her in a zipper cloth bag, about the size of a large cosmetic bag, alongside the other toys. I leave the charger with my other various electronic chargers (because I lost it once and I was devastated). I have never tried/needed to use lube with her.

Viola comes in a small cardboard box that holds the charger rolled up in the bottom with a little spot for her to sit in. I store her in the box within my cosmetic case. The user instructions were adequate. The packaging is not unattractive, but I would not say that is is appropriate for a gift box.

Absolutely my favorite toy, and a close personal friend of mine. My fiancee and I both appreciate her in that she has helped us out with my libido problem, and we both refer to her the same way I have through this review- as a very helpful friend.
