The Viola rechargeable massager by California Exotics is a small and cordless vibrator. It is great petite vibe for stimulation of all external parts of the body, specifically your clitoris. Personally, I like to use this to satisfy me on my clitoris and my nipples.

This toy is small so it can fit in your panties while you do chores, in between bodies while you are having intercourse or simply for lady masturbation. It is great for solo or couple play. This toy can be used by the advanced or beginning users. If you long for a quiet, multi-functional, buzzy vibe, this is your toy!

This is my first toy with this material. It has an 8/10 safety rating and has synthetic or semisynthetic polymerization. It is non-porous and phthalate-free. This makes it easy to clean and care for. You can use water and silicone lubricants with this toy.

The material is similar to its name. It is velvety and smooth, with just the slightest velvety texture. It is soft to run against your skin and had little to no drag. It is very comfortable to the touch and glides against sensitive areas well with hardly any lube. You can feel the vibrations very nicely in this material. The material has a slight rubber smell to it.

The toy comes in three color options: Pink, purple and black. I got the pink color.

This vibe is a lot smaller than it seems in the product picture. It is thin and quaint. The top is curved and the bottom is flat with a pin point numb at the end. The front half of the toy points down at an angle. There are buttons on the top that are clear in color and operate the toy. The toy fits perfect in the palm of your hand. The measurements I took were as follows:

The charging port is on the back of the toy. It has a plug-like cover to close the hole off when you want to use it in the water. It also keeps dirt and dust from getting in the charging port.

I like the fact it is so thin and small. It is smaller than the other two I have that are similar to this. It fits better when I want to rest it on my clit - hands free. It is nice to use during sex, it doesn’t get in the way as much as others. I also love it for travel. It is relatively discreet and fits in the smallest spots. I can put it in my jean's pocket or in my purse, and you'd never know it was there!

The operation of this toy is simple. There are two keys on the top. One key has a square on it - it is the power button when you want to turn it off. It will not turn the toy on. You press the other key for this. The other key has an “F” on it, I am assuming for function? It controls the vibrations. The “F” key rotates through each vibration setting one at a time. There are 7 functions, including vibration, pulsation and escalation. None of the settings are very loud, I give this toy a 2 on the buzz scale.

You charge the massager by plugging it in to the DC Jack on the back end. Charging time is about 3 hours total. You can tell when it is fully charged by the indicator light. The light will go from red to green.
This toy lasts about 3.5 hours when it is used at mid levels. The massager WILL NOT work when charging.

So, I love that it is rechargeable – awesome! It is better for the environment and it is easier for me. The waterproof thing, I wasn't impressed with. The back plastic seal for the DC jack just doesn't look like it is secure enough for me to bring this in the shower or bath. I can put my fingernail in between the cover and the toy, so I won't be testing it. As for the vibrations, my favorite is the last highest buzz.

As far as maintenance and cleaning go, do not use any strong chemical cleaners. It is best to use a toy wipe or soap and water. Switch off and remove the plug from the socket with clean, dry hands before cleaning.

Do not allow the power supply to be excessively pulled or twisted. Do no wrap the cord around the massager. Store your massager in its box or in a dry place. I store mine in the drawer next to my bed. Since I am so fond of the box, I keep the toy right in the box. It is easy and fits well. I keep the charger separate with the rest of my toy chargers.

The packaging consists of a small box with and inside panel that holds the toy in place and a bottom portion with the plug in charger and instructions. The box reminds me of the kind of box you get when you order your bank checks . Obviously though this box is a bit nicer. It is smooth and velvety sort of – kind of like the toy! The box is not discreet because of the wording and the photo images on the front, yet it is not inappropriate or crude either. There is a lot of detail about the product on the box, which is helpful and refreshing. The actual size image of the toy is on the box, so you know just what to expect inside.
Inside there is a leaflet on how to get to know your massager and an important safety instructions page. This box is great for re-storage. It fits the toy and charger well and keeps the toy separated from other toys.

This is my favorite vibrator to walk about the house in. I place it on the highest buzz setting, and into my panties it goes. I press on the toy, into my clit and wiggle it around while doing daily chores, and surprisingly chores aren't so bad! It is the perfect size for this, since it is so small and flat.
