Use

The Pretty Pearl G-spot is an efficient toy. It's a great option for ladies looking to explore their G-spot and don't want to invest a whole bunch of money on it until they're sure they like it. I wouldn't recommend this as a first toy for people, but it could be a first G-spot vibrator. This toy's tip is designed for G-spotting, but it can also be used to give more pinpoint stimulation to the clitoris. It can also be used to tease other erogenous zones.

Since TPR is not completely non porous (that is my assumption unless non porous TPR is specified), I would not recommend the Pretty Pearl G-spot for anal play. If you are determined, you can throw a condom over it and tease the prostate with the G-spot tip. The the Pretty Pearl G-spot has some length, so it would take a bit of effort to get this toy lost inside you.

This toy is also pretty discreet in terms of sound, making it a choice for those who live with others. It also has some waterproofing, making it an option for those who like shower toys.

Material / Texture

The Pretty Pearl G-spot is made of TPR, or thermoplastic rubber. It rates a 7 out of 10 on the safety scale, which is decently good. TPR is a popular rubber compound because it is easy to mold and is a resistant material. It can be considered microporous. This means that it is safer than jellies and plain rubber materials, but it is not in the same realm of plastic and silicone.

The Pretty Pearl G-spot has a slight toy smell, but it dissipates after a wash or two. The material is smooth, but TPR naturally has a drag. You can always add some lube for an easy glide. There is a seam that runs down the middle of the toy, but it is small and can barely (if at all) be felt. The texture of this toy is beginner friendly.

The Pretty Pearl G-spot is firm but has some flexibility. It does require some force to manipulate it. It's firm enough to provide pretty stead stimulation. It has the right amount of resistance for the majority of users, I think.

Design / Shape / Size

The Pretty Pearl G-spot is on the larger side of G-spot toys. It measures at 8 inches total with an insertable length of 6.75 inches. While long, it's not particularly thick. At its widest, it is 4.5 inches in circumference, which is around average to slightly thinner for girth. While it is long, it doesn't have to be inserted the entire way. The length of the Pretty Pearl G-spot allows a majority of G-spots to enjoy this toy, whether shallow or deep.

From left to right: Diamond Spot Vibrator (not good), Cute G (fair), Shiny G (ok), Lucid Dream Petites no. 8 (also ok), Dream Massager G (best of the bunch), and Pretty Pearl G Spot.

The G-spot curve is present but not severe. Combine that with the resistance the toy has and you can enjoy overall firm G-spot stimulation. Overall, I think the Pretty Pearl G-spot can be okay for those looking to explore their G-spot, but maybe not for first time toy users.

The Pretty Pearl G-spot is relatively discreet. It's a bit large to travel with, but you can easily wrap it in a cloth and take it along. In terms of sound, this toy is relatively discreet. At its loudest setting it is about 2 Bees. If you have background noise like a fan going it can barely be heard. Your safe behind a closed door with no issues.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The controls for the Pretty Pearl G-spot is pretty easy. A push button at the base of the toy does it all. It manages the power and cycles through the 3 intensities of the toy. The modes are:

Low Steady Vibrations: 2 Vrooms, 1-2 Bees
Medium Steady Vibrations: ~3 Vrooms, 2 Bees
High Steady Vibrations: Solid 3 Vrooms, ~2 Bees

The vibrations are more rumbly in nature and are concentrated in the head of the toy (where the motor is present). The strength of the Pretty Pearl G-spot should please ladies who have average to high sensitivity to vibrations. Power queens might just be frustrated with this one. If anything, it can be a teaser toy.

There is an O-ring on the base of the toy protecting the battery cage. My Pretty Pearl G-spot has survived showers, but I am hesitant to submerge it in a bath. Always be sure to twist the cap closed tightly when taking this one in the shower. The Pretty Pearl G-spot takes 2 AAA batteries and seem to last a decent amount of time.
    • Easy to use

Care and Maintenance

Care for the Pretty Pearl G-spot is pretty easy. Soap and water, wet wipes, or toy cleaners are all good options. The Pretty Pearl G-spot can collect a little lint, but it's not a big deal. When dry, it can be wrapped and stored. It should be wrapped to prevent any precious silicone toys from having reactions with the TPR.

Both silicone can water based lubrican't can be used with this toy.

Packaging

The packaging for the Pretty Pearl G-spot was interesting. When it arrived in my shipment box, the top had popped off. The plastic cap on top is a bit weak, but the rest of the packaging kept the toy secure. It was a blue, plastic cylindrical container that has a window so you can see the toy. Because you can easily see the toy, it is not discreet, but it's not sleazy with naked people.

The packaging can be reused if you want, but it does take up space. This toy could make a nice gift.

Experience

I will say I'm a bit of a materials snob. I tend not to buy anything below an 8 on the safety materials scale, but hell, I decided to be adventurous with some purchases recently! I think the Pretty Pearl G-spot is a pretty good toy and is a good value. It could be a good gift to a friend and be a nice addition to a sexy gift basket for a bachelorette or toy party.

Also, as I've collected more toys since I've been with Eden a while, my creative uses for toys has increased exponentially. In one night of debauchery, I crocheted a cape for my Pretty Pearl G-spot and "flew" it around the house and gave it persona (and no, I'm not on any illegal substances, this is all my sober, normal, natural mind frame. Which is probably weirder, but I digress). Bottom line, almost any sex toy can be fun and have more than one use!
