Pretty Pearl G-spot - g-spot vibrator by Pipedream - review by Red Vinyl Kitty

I chose this toy because my husband and I are always looking for truly waterproof toys. This didn't turn out to be it for us, unfortunately. Waterproof failure aside, this toy would be excellent for people who enjoy g-spot stimulation and vibrations. The TPR is smooth and feels wonderful. This toy is also an excellent clitoral stimulator.

The G-Spot Pearl is made of very smooth shiny TPR and just looks luxurious straight out of the box. The smooth texture helps it slide in with very little lube. The "head" of the toy is perfect for g-spot stimulation. Straight out of the box there was a slight manufacturer's smell, but it went away when I washed it well. I think that, due to the slimness of this toy, beginners would feel right at home using it. Advanced users who know where their g-spot is will love using pin-point pressure there. The toy is slightly flexible and very easy to use.

My husband and I were both very surprised by the vibrator's quality when we got it out of the package. We love using waterproof toys, and this toy looked like it would be perfect for some fun in the bathtub. There are two pieces which come together flush-up against each other and even an O ring inside to keep the water out; it seemed perfect in that aspect.

The toy is shaped just beautifully for g-spot play, with the head of the toy being larger than the rest of the toy. The tip of the toy also comes to a soft "point", so you can really get some pinpoint stimulation where you want it. The toy measures about 8" long, with 7 of those inches being insertable. So far, so good.

The G-spot pearl is controlled using a push button on the bottom of the toy. One thing I loved about this was that you actually need to "click" the button for it to go up in vibrations. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of vibration you get from this toy; it was wonderful! I would say a 3 out of 5 for buzz-ability.

This toy is NOT waterproof though, repeat, NOT waterproof. My husband and I like to bring toys into the bathtub, and with this toy looking so well made we opted to give it a shot. The first time we used it in the tub, we did not notice a problem. The next time I decided to use it, I noticed that the first and second speeds worked fine, but that I could not get the toy to go to the third (and most intense) speed. I took the toy out of the water, dried it off, and removed the battery cap. What I saw was incredibly disappointing,
but also just plain nasty. Water had somehow gotten into the battery compartment. My husband and me think it may have been through the rubber "on" button on the bottom. The water had caused the batteries to leak. There was a ton of rust which had corroded the entire battery compartment! I now wish that I had never brought it in the tub. If I had not gotten the toy wet, it would have been my new favorite g-spot vibrator.

Outside of the tub though, this toy worked wonderfully. It has three speeds, starting low and going to a fairly high buzz, but no matter the setting this toy really is whisper quiet. No one would have any clue you were using it if your door was shut. It is really *that* quiet.

You can use toy cleaner or soap and water to wash this toy. I would recommend using a condom if you plan to share you toy since TPR can be slightly porous. You can use any type of lubricant you want with it, so grab your favorite and enjoy!

This toy came in a plastic container which is not the best for storing. It's too flimsy and bulky, but you can recycle it, which is always a plus.
