It is easy to insert a battery - simply twist and it opens to a well sealed battery compartment. There is a clear, rubber seal between the top and bottom half of the toy when opened which makes this toy completely watertight when put back together. It is well made and you have to use a little strength to open up the battery compartment which means you don't run the risk of this coming apart in your hands whilst playing.
Very easy to clean with hot water and antibacterial soap, toy cleaner or a 10% bleach solution. It does not come with a storage pouch so I store mine along with the plastic caps in a zip lock bag or in my purse or pocket when out and about.
If you are looking for a first mini vibe, then this is a great start and powerful enough to get you going. Great toy for beginners; and for those who like stronger vibrations, it caters for you as well. Great fun to play with on your own or with a partner to use together and great for foreplay.

I teased myself through my jeans for about five minutes the first time and yes my pants were around my ankles rather fast after that. The plastic caps didn't impress me in the slightest but they may well be fun for someone else, just not me. I enjoyed the direct contact with the metal nodules much more than the caps.
The battery lasts for ages and I have used it over and over for the last couple of days and the vibrations are still going strong. If you don’t want to deal with excessive mess and fumbling around with batteries then this is a great toy.
Can be used in the shower, but I haven't tried in the bath yet just make sure it is closed properly first. There is a rubber seal that sits at the point the top half and lower half connection so make sure this is sat correctly. It does come off so be careful not to lose this when changing the battery or damage when cleaning.
It would have been nice to have this toy come equipped with a storage pouch but other than that, I am more than happy with this wee fantastical bean flicker and it had me horny in a matter of minutes and I have a fussy clit that needs decent oompfffy toys so that's saying something. Totally love this as a warm up toy or just for a teaser. The choice of varying vibrations and the ease of use and cleaning has made this a favorite in my toy collection. I haven't yet changed the battery in it and it takes rechargeable batteries which is a must for me. Total thumbs up on this product. If anyone is looking for a multifunctional wee clitoral vibe with strong vibrations then this is most definitely the one to have.

Hi newme21 the vibtations are actually rather quiet and not high pitched as well. The vibration is felt through the whole massager and is a powerful yet quiet toy.The highest vibration would be on par with the rabbit head on a decent vibrator. It actually surprised me as to how strong the vibrations were, I was expecting alot less.
