Hitachi magic wand vibrator by Hitachi - review by JustLikeHeaven

The Hitachi can be used for solo use, for clitoral stimulation, but I would have rather had a partner to help me out, I say this because I used it first as a massager for my back and I had a hard time reaching my back. It also made my hands hurt trying to hold it a certain way. You can use the Hitachi all over the body, I tried it on my nipples, and I am not one for nipple play, but this did feel good. The vibe would be good for couples, might be too much for a beginner, who is just starting out, but it would not hurt to give it a try. You never know you might like it.

The Hitachi magic wand is made out of plastic, it is rated a 8 on the material safety scale. It has a smooth texture to it. I did detect a little bit of smell to it, but can't make out what kind I would call it. It is Food-grade material, Hypo-allergenic,Latex free, and Phthalates free. The handle is a hard plastic compared to the head of the Hitachi which is a little bit softer, but yet still stern. There is also a part in between to allow for attachments to be placed on it.

The Hitachi is white on the handle part and white for the tip. It has a little bit of blue where the attachment part is for the tip and handle. It is about 12" in length, the circumference is 6 3/4", and in diameter it is 2 3/8". It could be a little more then just white, but I am not complaining. I wish it was a little bit more smaller as for when I massaged my back it was hard to move around with it, but it got the job done.

This would not be easy to hide unless you present it as a back massager, but for people who are into the sex scene they would know exactly what it is used for. If you wanted to travel with it you would probably have to put it in a suitcase because it is so big. I think beginners and advanced users would get a kick out of this.

With the Hitachi there are only two settings one is slow, which in my opinion is fast. Then there is fast, in my opinion holy moly what was that thing. The vibrations are located in the ball part of the Hitachi. It runs on a power cord. Thank god there is not a batteries option or you would be replacing them fast.

It is a really strong and loud vibe. I had placed it on the bed while massaging my back and it was even louder and this was on the low setting. Which is good even for a back massage. The controls are at the lower end of the wand, it is pretty easy to slide back and forth.

This is not waterproof being that it plugs into a outlet. I am sure anyone would figure that part out.

Cleaning for this is probably easy, I did not use it directly on my genitals, I did it through my clothes, so I did not have to worry about that. You could probably clean it with a warm cloth, with some water, but be careful as to not to get water in the part between the head and wand. Another option would be to use some toy wipes, which I am planning on grabbing, because I would not want to mess up this bad boy.

With it being plastic, you can use silicone based and water based lubes. Just make sure it does get in between the head and wand. You can also take it apart to clean it too but I have not attempted to do so.

When I was finished, I just stored it back in the box it came in and put it in my closet.

The Hitachi came in a cardboard box, with a picture of the wand on it, also with pictures of women using it on her shoulder, her arm and mid way on the back of neck on one side and on the other it shows a guy with it on his shoulder and a lady using it on her leg. It has some simple massage instructions on the inside also a warranty from Hitachi.

As I said before you can give this as a gift to someone who would not know what it is, but for anyone else if they like it why not. The box can be used for storage, also it is good to keep because with the warranty it says to keep original package.

I did find that the Hitachi handle got a little bit warm while I was holding it. I don't know if it was because of how long I had it plugged in for, or for the areas I was using it on.I also noticed that I would get like a itchy feeling but don't know if it was because it was my first time using it or it was just that fast that it made me itch and this was on top of my clothes, because I am not allergic to anything. So all I did was remove it scratch the spot and then proceed to finish my massage.

So, I was just sitting around and being I don't get much privacy, My back was hurting already and I know that this thing is loud, but I knew that this would be good to try on my back at the moment. I pulled it out of the box and got a extension cord because I needed it. I proceeded to rub my shoulder with it, and oh my god it felt so good and this was on the low setting, I continued to massage down my back and decided to try it on high to see how it felt and it was to powerful so I switched back to the low, which worked just fine. I tried it on my arm and my leg which was also hurting and it got the cramp right out my leg.

For the fun of it I decided to quickly put it down at my clit, thru my clothes and boy did it feel good. I stopped because it was a little fast and the way I was sitting was not comfy. If you want to get off quick where no one would know this is the toy for you. So after adjusting myself I put it down there again I did not get a numbing sensation, I am so glad for that. But let me tell you when I put it back down the second time within a few minutes I was cumming and it felt so good.

Now if I only had a partner to try this with I am sure they would enjoy it just as much as I did. Or even just to massage my back, because it is a little bit heavy for my small hands.
