I wanted to try something different from my velvet vibe (the twist cap has cracked) and I had been pondering the turbo glider for a while since it has so many rave reviews. The one thing that kept me from buying it was that it is so darn ugly. I hate the color and its translucence, it just scream yuck and cheap to me. But I did purchase it and it was such a wise decision!
I have come to love its ugly color because of its functionality and shape. It has quickly become my favorite vibe. It is made out of a hard plastic that sort of makes me think of acrylic. It is smooth and hard and it runs on two AA batteries. Most important to me is that it is phthalates-free (YAY!). The batteries stay strong for a long time. I have used the vibe on the same batteries I think for up to 4 hours and it was still going strong!
It does not have any chemical smell and it has no taste. When using this vibe anally or if you intend to share it, it is a good precaution to put a condom on it considering it is somewhat porous. I will usually rinse it underwater and use before and after spray on my toy to keep it clean and shiny. It is safe to use any lube with this toy (except oil if you put a condom on it).
The dial-base is so much fun, I love vibes with dial bases and this one is wonderful. It is actually a little tight to twist so if any of you are worried that it will change vibration intensity mid-romp it is highly unlikely. This vibe is also waterproof. I found the little rubber ring under the cap to be unusually thin but the vibe has had no water in the battery compartment when fully submerged in water or when used in the shower.

Experience
When used anally the vibes are way too intense for me. Evidently the turbo glider does not have a flared base that makes it safe for anal play but if you only insert the first few bulbs and your hands are lube-free you are in for stimulating fun. The bulbs feel nice anally and vaginally, as well as when used for clitoral stimulation. I have not tried this for DP since I only feel comfortable using a plug or a dildo with a flared base (it is safer).

The turbo glider packs a punch, and it really delivers when I am looking for a quick rush of pleasure to my loins. I love it for those times where I need stronger vibes. However it is no longer my go to vibe anymore. My body now demands gentler vibes (and quieter ones too), so it is currently on the back burner for those exceptional moments.

Does she have a preference for size? color? is she sensitive or does she require quite a bit of stimulation to get her to achieve an orgasm?
Unfortunately no one will be able to point you in the right direction regarding products without that information. Stimulation, arousal and the sensation of orgasm is relatively different depending on the person(s) involved.
