I was given my first
pocket rocket when I directed a production of "The Vagina Monologues." (The cast thought I needed a gift to de-stress.) It was my first vibrator, so I had a LOT of fun getting familiar with it.
The
ivibe pocket rocket is fairly compact, so I was really surprised when I felt the sheer power of the vibrations that it produced. It has only one setting, and I found that the vibrations were a little bit too strong for my taste when I put a fresh battery in it. However, once I had let the battery run down a bit, it was much more comfortable to use. Once it was running at a comfortable strength for me, it never took me more than four or five minutes to have an orgasm while using it. It was also small enough to be comfortably used for clitoral stimulation during partner sex.
Once the battery got fairly run down, I had the problem of not being able to feel much of anything. I was changing the batteries on it fairly often. I think the major design flaw of the ivibe is that the bottom half twists all the way off when you change the batteries. This is a problem because you also have to twist it to turn it on and off, so it was not unusual for me to turn it just a little too far and send the batteries and half the vibrator flying across the room. (Also, the on/off mechanism was a challenge to use with slippery fingers...)
Ultimately, I think that the ivibe is best when it is being used for clitoral stimulation for short periods of time. It is fairly strong, and it got the job done pretty quickly for me. However, you do have to remember that it is NOT for insertion. I tried it, and moisture got into the battery compartment, effectively shorting out the device!

- At least it works well as a neck massager while you're waiting for the batteries to run down a little.
