This little rocket's all burned out.

The iVibe pocket rocket is meant only to be used on the outside of the body. It feels really great around the breasts and nipples, and it makes for an awesome clitoral stimulator. The lack of variation might be boring for some, but the vibrations are strong enough for the average user to really enjoy. You should have no trouble getting to the moon and back with this baby.

In addition to being a clitoral vibe, it also makes a great neck and head massager. I often use it when I have headaches, and it feels pretty nice.

This toy is made of plastic. The back end screws off so you can put an AA battery in, and the white end opposite of that has three smooth round nubs that feel like metal. It comes with a clear plastic cap that has a bunch of tiny hard plastic nubs on it, which I find to be a little painful on my gentle bits. However, I do use the caps when I use the iVibe as a body massager. It feels awesome on the scalp, so don't chuck the cap right away. Cap aside, there really isn't much of a texture to tell about. The end is just hard and smooth. That's good for beginners, but more advanced users would probably find this boring.

Like all toys like this, the design is very simple. It's just a simple cylinder with a blunt end. The colors the iVibe comes in are one of the things that set it apart from other pocket rockets, though. Mine is the pink model, though I wish I had gotten green or orange. If I ever buy another one of these, I'll definitely get it in one of those colors. I kind of wish it came in red... You know, 'cause red makes you think that it'll go faster. But, I digress...

This toy is probably more suited towards beginners, seeing as it's pretty vanilla (get it? because the colors are flavors). It is very easy to hide, and if someone does happen to find it, they probably won't assume it's a vibrator. I've brought it with me on a road trip, and it fit very nicely in my toiletries bag. So, it's very travel-friendly.

It may have only one speed, but it is pretty strong. That's good for me, but those who like softer vibrations and/or variation might not like this toy as much. The vibrations are located at the head. You can actually see the motor through the transparent casing, which I think is neat. With decent vibrations comes loud noise. Sadly, that seems to be how things work. Using it under the blankets, or having some sort of background noise (e.g,; fan, tv, music) helps to hide it.

To turn the iVibe on, you turn the bottom part that screws off all the way to the right. If you're not careful, you might accidentally turn it off while using it, or unscrew it completely and lose your battery. That's happened to me more than once, which is a little frustrating. In addition to its inconvenient bottom half, it also is not waterproof, or even water-safe. As tempting as it is to bring it into the shower -- don't.

The iVibe is one of the easiest toys to clean up and take care of. A simple wipe-down with your preferred cleaning agent after use is all it really needs. You can store it just about anywhere you would your other toys, being mindful to avoid damp areas and extreme temperatures. Being plastic, you can use it with any lube you'd like, though I'm not sure why you'd want to.

The packaging this toy comes in is just a flimsy plastic box with a window to see the vibe, and an insert to keep it in place during shipping. I don't find it to be suitable for long terms storage, and the packaging is not discreet at all. The box is kind of cute, though, so I'd imagine jazzing it up with a little ribbon or something would make for an alright gift, as long as the vary obvious packaging would be appropriate for the setting.

I really loved this toy when I first got it. Being a bit of a power queen, not a lot of vibrators are strong enough to get me off. After taking short breaks from masturbation to bring some sensitivity back, this vibe was a sure thing when it came to getting off. However, after only about six or seven uses, it began to give off this awful chemical/plastic burning smell. I don't know if maybe I got a bad lemon, or if that's just how this toy is, but I am thinking about giving it a second try. I just don't want to end up being out the money and having two bad seeds!
