Doc Johnson has brought us the Wonderland Collection: they describe Wonderland as being full of erotic surprises and satisfying delights. There are five themed toys included in the series, and in Wonderland, the Queen of Hearts rules over all. She is quick to shout out 'off with their head!', although her orders are rarely followed through as the King pardons many of the subjects while the Queen is not looking. Sadly just like in the story, this Queen of Hearts has a bigger bark than bite.

The Heavenly Heart, no doubt intended to represent the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland, is a petite vibrator. She has a wide variety of uses including clitoral stimulation, G-spot stimulation, nipple teasing, or pleasurable stimulation where ever else you might be inclined to use her majesty. However she is not designed for anal play. The Heavenly Heart has no flared base, and you may not find a trip to the ER for extraction to be so heavenly.

This wonderful heart shaped toy is made from body safe silicone, features 10 vibration functions, lights up, and is waterproof for fun wherever you would like to play. As Doc Johnson has put it "you can take the fantasy with you wherever you may go."

The Heavenly Heart is made from body safe silicone and ABS plastic. Eden Fantasys rates silicone a 10 on their material safety scale. Silicone is non-toxic, hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous, and phthalates free. All of the insertable portion of the Heavenly Heart is made of silicone, the base of the vibe is made from plastic. Plastic rates an 8 on the safety scale and is also non-porous, hypo-allergenic, and phthalates free. The silicone on this vibe is silky smooth, as there is minimal drag to the material. Doc Johnson sure got the heavenly part right here. The heart shaped head on the toy is slightly flexible and has a bit of give to it, where as the bottom half of the shaft is not flexible and has barely any give to it. There was a slight odor when I first received the Heavenly Heart, but it washed off after a few uses.

The Heavenly Heart is fairly smooth, for the most part. There are three hearts that run down the front of the shaft. The hearts provide for pleasurable stimulation when rubbed against the clit and labia. If the shaft was covered in these hearts, the texture may have been a bit overwhelming for internal stimulation and thrusting with the toy, but I find the three little hearts are a nice addition. For those who are sensitive to seams, there is a visible seam that runs down the side of the Heavenly Heart; it is not easily felt, however, and should not be an issue for most users.

The name says a lot about the design of this toy: it is all about hearts. There is a large heart at the tip of the toy, and three smaller hearts that run down the front. It is almost entirely red except for a thin gold band right above the battery cap. Overall, the Heavenly Heart is 5.5 inches long with an insertable length of 4.25 inches. The tip of the toy is a large heart: it is 1.25 inches wide by 1.25 inches long. Upon insertion, the heart tip is angled in a way that its broad flat head can provide G-spot stimulation. The size of the heart on the tip is not too large that insertion is uncomfortable. The broad heart is also good for clit or nipple stimulation when used externally. The shaft of the Heavenly Heart is 3 inches in circumference at its widest point.




Since it is fairly small and its whimsical design doesn't scream sex toy, I think that the Heavenly Heart would make a good travel companion. You could place it in your purse or overnight bag, and it would take up about as much space as a tube of mascara.

The Heavenly Heart is powered by one AA battery. When you insert the battery into the battery compartment you will notice there is a rubber o-ring that needs to stay in place: this protects the battery compartment from water during use. The Heavenly Heart is waterproof. There is a single push button control at the base of the toy, which controls both power and switches between vibration functions. Pressing down on the button will turn the Heavenly Heart on, then continuing to press down on the button will cycle through the 10 different vibration functions. To turn off the Heavenly Heart, you hold down on the button for a few seconds and it will turn off. There is an LED light at the base of the toy that lights up when it is on and flashes in sync with the vibration patterns.



The 10 patterns are:
1. high steady
2. medium steady
3. low steady
4. pulsing escalation
5. low pulse
6. high pulse
7. high fast pulse
8. short pulse
9. long pulse
10. low fast pulse

When you turn off the Heavenly Heart and turn it back on, it neither starts back up at the first vibration pattern, nor does it start back at the last pattern it was on when it was turned off. Instead, when you turn it on it starts at the next pattern from the one you were using when you turned it off. So if you have found a pattern that you really like, you must cycle back through all of the other patterns to get back to it every time you use your toy. Honestly, I can hardly tell the difference between all of the pulsing patterns anyways.

Overall, for me, all of the vibrations felt very buzzy, not very deep and rumbly. It was not enough to get me off with just the use of the Heavenly Heart. It is also a bit loud, you can hear this through covers and possibly through thin walls. If discretion is necessary, be ready to have some background music on to cover up the Heavenly Heart's buzzing.

Being that the Heavenly Heart is made from silicone and is waterproof, it is fairly easy to clean and care for. You can use warm water and antibacterial soap or your favorite toy cleaner to wash the queen up after use. Also if you wish to disinfect, you can wipe down with a 10% bleach solution. As silicone is non-porous, the Heavenly Heart can be shared with another user if it is properly cleaned and disinfected between uses. You are going to want to use water-based lubes only with this toy, as silicone based lubes can bind with the silicone on the surface of the toy and leave it permanently tacky. Also, store it away form toys made of jelly, TPE, or TPR as they can melt onto the Heavenly Heart. I would also advise against storing this with other silicone toys as there is a slight chance that two different silicone toys could melt together during storage.

Doc Johnson has done a really great job with the Wonderland-themed packaging for this line. The outer sleeve featured a bright picture of the Heavenly Heart and information on the toy on the back; slide this off and the box the toy is contained in looks like a book. The box features the word 'Wonderland' on the side, just like a book title can be found on the spine of the book, the other sides look like pages of a novel. There is W on the front of the box along with 'Wonderland.' The back of the box just features a small Doc Johnson's logo. If you needed to be discreet in storage, you could toss the outer sleeve and keep the Heavenly Heart in the box, anyone who took a quick glance at it would think it was a book at first look.

The box has a magnetic flap on the side and once opened up reveals the Heavenly Heart sitting in a tray, and a short little story description of the Wonderland line of toys.

Being a sucker for anything heart-shaped or lovey-dovey (I'm kind of a sap that way), I was ecstatic to be receiving the Heavenly Heart. I had been drooling over this toy since I first saw the press release for the Wonderland line. I just HAD to have the heart one! I was sadly disappointed in the function of the toy. I was hoping that the big broad heart would be perfect for clit stimulation, but it was so weak and buzzy that I had wasn't even able to orgasm from use of this toy alone. It is a cute novelty toy, and I guess it could be used as a warm up/teaser, but I won't be reaching for this one very much in the future.
