The Dream Massager G is a G-spot vibrator, it can be used solo or at the hands of a lover. Its use does not have to be limited to just the G-spot, it can be used in foreplay as well to tease your partner's erogenous zones: their nipples, clit, neck, back, you can run it along the shaft of the penis, or tickle your man's boys. The Dream Massager G does not have a flared base, so I would not recommend using this toy for anal play as it could slip up into the rectum calling for an awkward and embarrassing trip to the ER. The Dream Massager G is made from a PU coated ABS plastic, which rates an 8 on Eden Fantasys' safety scale. Eden Fantasys' product description just listed it as plastic, although based on the feel of the toy when I had it in my hands, I knew it had to be coated and not plain plastic. A quick product look up on the manufacturer's website listed it as PU coated ABS plastic; Cal Exotics calls their PU coat a Rubber Cote. The material is nonporous and phthalate free. If properly cleaned between users, this toy could be safely shared with a partner.

PU stands for polyurethane, it is a coating used over the plastic to give it a completely different texture than plain plastic would have on its own. The PU coat on the plastic gives it a velvety feel, yet it is still perfectly smooth. I don't find that PU coated plastic toys have near the drag to them as silicone toys do. I also find they do not have an issue with lint and dust sticking to them like silicone does. The plastic is hard and solid, there is no squishy feel or give to this toy at all. The hardness of the plastic helps to transmit vibrations really well and target the area it is applied to.

I found that the toy had a slight odor to it, but it could only been noticed when I was holding it right up to my nose to smell. It would not have been something I would have noticed otherwise. The odor wasn't offensive in any way, just a bit of a plasticy-new-toy smell to it. I don't lick my toys, so I can't comment on whether or not it has a taste to it.

The Dream Massager G is designed to be a G-spot vibrator. The tip of the vibrator is angled in a way to pinpoint the vibrations onto the G-spot. Overall, the vibrator is 6.5 inches long with 5 inches of that being insertable. The inch and a half that is not insertable on the bottom contains the battery cap and vibration dial. At its widest part, the Dream G is about 5.25 inches in circumference, about 1.75 inches in diameter. Because this toy is so hard with no squishiness to it at all, it may feel a bit larger than a soft toy of the same dimensions. The width of the Dream G varies as the shaft of the Dream G has curves that go in and out giving it a bulb at the base where the controls are, then it slightly curves in to a 4.5 inch circumference at the base of the insertable portion, and curves back out to a bulb at the half way mark of the insertable portion, and curves back in before tapering out to the tip.

I will admit that I purchase my toys with their beauty in mind; if it doesn't look pretty, I could care less about the functions, it won't turn me on. I love the shape of the Dream G, it has a curvy body that, combined with the beautiful purple color, make it a gorgeous piece of art to me. The Dream Massger G is also offered in a pink and blue color, they look fabulous. The color I got was a vibrant jewel toned purple, I was very pleased.

The Dream Massager G is powered by 2 AA batteries that fit into a compartment at the base of the toy. The bulb on the bottom screws off and that is where you find the spot to place the two batteries. The battery compartment is sealed with a rubber o-ring to make it a waterproof toy, so make sure it's in place when changing out the batteries.

The Dream Massager G has a constant vibration pattern that goes from low to high with a twist of the base of the toy. The vibrations are concentrated in the tip of the toy where it is angled to hit the G-spot, although the plastic does a great job at transmitting the vibrations all throughout the toy. There are no buttons to push to scroll through patterns, you just move from low to high in a twisting motion on a dial similar to working a light dimmer. There are markings with arrows on the base of the toy to tell you which direction to twist in to go from low to high. There is no on/off button on this toy, the twist dial that controls the vibrations functions as a power button as well. Twist all the way to the low side of the dial and the Dream Massager G will turn off, twist just slightly towards the high side on the dial and it will turn on. I am not a fan of this power function as I have found myself inadvertently turning the vibrator on while storing it or moving around other toys in my toy box. I wish it would lock or click into a definitive 'off'. Also, the dial can become difficult to operate if your fingers or the dial are covered in lube or other slippery liquids. The dial does have some indentations on it to assist with grip, but they provide minimal assistance in these circumstances.

I find that the Dream G is fairly quiet on the lower settings. As the vibrations increase in intensity, the toy does get louder, but it is not the loudest toy I own. You could use this toy in one room and the person in the next room would be unaware as to what you were up to. The sound of the vibrator is muffled quite a bit when it is inserted.

The Dream Massager G has some good things going for it on the care and maintenance front. First, it's made up of plastic, so any lube you wish to use you can without having to worry about ruining the toy. Second, it's waterproof, so cleanup is a snap. You can run this baby under hot water and clean it off using anti-bacterial soap or your favorite toy cleaner, or you could also wipe it down with isopropyl alcohol if you wish. I prefer to use toy wipes as they are quick and easy for clean up.

As far as storage goes, you can store this with any other plastic toys, which is what I do. It is suggested that you do not store this material with anything soft as there is a small concern that the color could leak or the other materials could melt onto it. I like to keep my toys segregated and contained in a under the bed shoe organizer, so I don't have this problem. The packaging that this toy came in was very minimal. It was a sealed, clear plastic bag with some black print on it, just big enough to contain the Dream Massager G. You could clearly see the vibrator through the plastic bag it came in, so the packaging was not discreet in any way. Once I ripped into the bag to free my new toy, there was no saving it for a storage option. There were not any included instructions with the toy, I had to play with it to discover its workings. But it is a very simple vibrator, there was nothing difficult that needed explaining, so I don't feel this really took away from anything.

I could consider myself a beginner when it comes to using insertable vibrators, for this reason I found that the Dream Massager G may be a bit on the wide side for someone who is not accustomed to internal vibrator use. The hardness of the plastic has something to do with that as well, it does not have any give or bend to it. When I first went to use this toy, I found that inserting it was difficult due to the stiffness of the plastic and the width and angle of the shaft. I was determined to use the Dream G, so lots of lube and slow going finally did the trick, and boy am I glad I stuck with it. The vibrations felt from this toy are DEEP. You can feel them throughout your whole pelvic region, in all the right places. This was one of the best orgasms I have had with a vibrator. I have had a hard time finding my G-spot with some of my other toys, but the Dream G hit it just right. I did not enjoy any thrusting with this toy, I personally found it too hard and wide for thrusting to be pleasurable. I had to go quite slow with this toy. I have a feeling that this will be a vibrator that I keep close by and continue to work with as it brought me to such an intense level of pleasure while using it. I really hope that I can grow more accustomed to its size and hardness.
