A dream... not so much

The Dream Massager G is a waterproof, multi-speed G-spot stimulator manufactured by Cal Exotics. While being designed to specifically target to g-spot, this vibrator can be used for clitoral stimulation as well as stimulation for other sensitive areas of the body (nipples, etc.). Because this vibrator was not specifically designed for anal stimulation, I would recommend against using it for such as there is no flared base. Since the Dream Massager G is waterproof, it is completely safe to take and use this toy in the shower, tub, pool, or any other wet area where you might want to have a little extra fun. Keep in mind that this toy runs on 2 AA batteries, which are not included, so before you plan on using it, make sure you have the means to power it on hand.

The Dream Massager G is made of plastic (an 8 on the EF safety scale) which means it is a non-porous and phthalate-free toy that is completely firm with a smooth textures. Unlike some plastic toys, this one has a nice velvety feel and a matte appearance, as opposed to a slick shiny one. It does not feel velvety like silicone, but it does have a nice soft feeling to it. Because of this, the toy does have a little bit of drag to it, so I would recommend using some lube while playing with it. You are free to use pretty much any type of lube you would like with this toy, since it is made out of plastic, but my usual preference is water based for ease of clean up.

Unlike most plastic toys I have tried, the Dream Massager G has a strange smell to it. It is hard to describe exactly what it smells like to me, but is not a normal plastic smell. This odd smell, however, is not strong and you can only really smell it when you have the vibrator close to your nose. Although this toy does have an odd smell, it does not, however, have any taste at all.

Though this toy is categorized as a g-spot vibrator, I personally think that it looks more like a clitoral stimulator due to the very small tip. While it looks like an amazing clit toy, it does also work as it should it the G-spot stimulation department.

As mentioned above, this toy features a small tip for pinpoint stimulation. The Dream Massager G also features a bulb midway down the toy, where the motor is housed. This bulb adds some interesting sensations while inserted vaginally as well as some great clitoral stimulation which I will discuss in the experience portion of this review.

In my mind, I pictured this toy to be smaller than it actually turned out to be. If I would have checked the specs, however, I would not have been surprised by its size one bit. The Dream Massager G is a relatively girthy toy as far as G-spot stimulators go. I would not recommend this as a first timers toy, or for anyone who doesn't like a little bit of girth in their toys.

It features a circumference of 5 1/4" and a diameter of 1 3/4" at it's widest point, which is the bulb about halfway down the toy. Though this toy is girthy it is, in my opinion, about average size (6 1/2" with 5" of that being insertable), as far as length goes for a vibrator. If you are interested in a vibrator that has a little more girth to it than your traditional vibrator or g-spot vibrator, this is probably a good pick.

The Dream Massager G does not have any vibration patterns, so if that is something you are looking for, you should probably look elsewhere. This toy, however, does feature controllable levels of steady vibration due to its controls being dial based and range from low to high. At it's lowest setting I would say it is about one vroom, where as it's highest setting is probably four vrooms. As long as your hands are not covered in lube or girly juices, the dial control of this toy, located at the base, is easy enough to use. If your hands are not dry, the dial can be a bit of a pain to turn and instead of increasing the intensity of the vibrations you may end up just turning the toy itself. The vibrations themselves are nice and rumbly in the bulb in the middle of this toy, but feel more buzzy at the tip.

Though this vibrator does not feature any patterns, the strength of the vibrations make up for it, in my opinion. Luckily this toy is both pretty powerful (maybe a little numbing to some but not for me) and relatively quiet. You probably couldn't hear it through a door if you are playing under some blankets or have a little background noise going. At its lowest setting I would say that it is probably one bee and on its highest setting it is probably two or three bees.

The Dream Massager G is very easy to care for and store. Because it is made plastic and is waterproof, you can clean this toy with soap and water without having to worry about water seeping into any mechanical bits. You can also use your preferred toy cleaner or wipe to clean this toy. As stated above, you are free to use any lube you wish to while playing with this toy. The material of this toy also allows for easy storage. You can keep it anywhere you would like, though I personally keep mine in it's own plastic zip-lock baggie in a storage container.

There really isn't much to say about the packaging other than it appears a little shifty. I am not sure why EF chose to repackage this toy, but they did. The Dream Massager G comes in a literal plastic bag, featuring the name of the toy, a bar code, and some "Made in China" text. I think I would have preferred the actual Cal Exotics packaging for this item, but whatever.

Since the packaging for this toy is a plastic bag, it is in no way discreet, and the shape of this toy, while not necessarily an obvious sex toy, finding an explanation for what else it might be might be hard. In addition to not being discreet, I would not recommend that you use the plastic bag that the Dream Massager G comes in as storage. If you want to store it in a bag, you are better off just stuffing it in a zip-lock.

As a G-spot stimulator, the Dream Massager G fell flat for me. Although it reached my g-spot without issue, and the vibrations could be felt through the tip, this toy just couldn't get the job done. The small tip of this toy did not provide the broad stimulation that my g-spot tends to like. The lack of vibration power traveling to the tip of this toy did nothing to impress my g-spot. To me, this toy turned out to act more like a classic vibrator, which lacks the ability to please my G-spot, but does provide some general vaginal stimulation.

The Dream Massager G, at first glance, looks like it would be a great toy for pin-point clitoral stimulation. It did to me anyway. In actuality though, the vibrations do not travel well through the tip and leave me wishing for more. I found, however, that if you turn the toy so that the tip sits just inside my vagina and the rest of the toy rests against my clit, this toy provides a great sensation. Positioning the toy this way allows for maximum vibration against my clit, because the motor resides in the bump in the middle of this toy, while still teasing my vagina with the weaker vibrations at the tip of the toy.
