Does any one how long the cord length is? And is it easily yankable from the computer, because there would be nothing worse than a power failure!!!

The reviews list the total cord length as about 42". It should attach like any USB device, so I wouldn't yank on it, but the 42" should give you some room :-)

I have something almost like this and i love it, if you have a wall charger for and iphone or ipod. even the blackberry charger then you can attach it to that as well.
