You'll never think of orgasm & climax the same way again...

The Vr12 is without a doubt the nicest, most versatile vibrator I have & well worth the price. The triple motors (vibrating shaft, vibrating 'ears' & rotating shaft) are a-m-a-z-i-n-g and multiple orgasms are possible - with no soreness or tenderness from exposed seams or stiff, rough 'ears'. Can last an hour ++ of continued use on a full charge, which makes storing batteries a thing of the past.
Published:
Pros
3 strong motors, rotating shaft, rechargeable, very good/flexible clitoral ears, water resistant
Cons
The charging base is a bid odd in that the vibrator can tip over easily if not secured properly.

Use

The Vanity Vr12 has become my favorite go-to vibrator! You're (very) able to reach the g-spot while simultaneously using the clitoral ears for a completely orgasmic experience. The rotating shaft is a huge plus and with some light pressure you can actually bend it slightly to control the how much or how little rotation you want. In the right position (and with a little thrust) you can also reach the back wall (A-Spot) of the vagina (rotating, vibrating shaft and all) and still have the clitoral 'ears' do their job for unimaginable orgasms. Notice that I said orgasmS, not orgasm.

PLEASE NOTE: Despite what the description says, the Vr12 is NOT waterproof. Sure, you can run it under the faucet for cleaning, but it cannot be submerged in water for any length of time. Trust me!

Material / Texture

The Vr12 is made of smooth, delicious silicone! It's easy (!) to clean and with some water-based lube is easy to use. There is no unpleasant odor and the travel/storage bag doesn't attract lint (a common complaint for silicone...though I've not experienced it)
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all
    • Smooth

Design / Shape / Size

The size could be a bit larger (in length), depending on your anatomy, but this is a very versatile and 'mold-able' toy so there's wiggle room to play. Great for beginners and advanced users...once you take advantage of all its options. It's also great for travel with an on/off lock.

Functions / Performance / Controls

There are variable speeds and pressure (vibrations) to suit almost anyone. The controls are at the top/side of the vibrator. I find them easy to use and yet not it shut off accidentally, but this may take a little practice for some people. The instant on/off function is both a blessing and a curse, if you catch my drift. The Vr12 works splendid in the shower...just don't immerse it in the tub..it won't survive. I learned the hard way.

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning with soap and water is all you need, though some prefer to disinfect as well. Since Silicone is non-porous it's very easy to maintain.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

Sturdy and nice looking packaging. Very giftable.
    • Good for storage
    • Minimal
    • Would make a nice gift

good start at reviewing. good to know the shaft both rotates & vibrates. I've wondered about that. can other types of lube be/not be used & why? further details about the different functions & speeds would be helpful. more proofing would be helpful too.

Thank you for your comment Edeneve. The Vr12 is made of pure silicone, and therefore water based lubes are best. However, I've also used pure grapeseed oil as well with no problems. Lubricants containing silicone should never be used with any silicone toy, as it can break down the silicone on the toy.

As for functions, both the shaft and the clitoral stimulator operate independently. They may be used simultaneously or you can use only the shaft vibration/rotation or only the clitoral stimulator, depending on your preference. There is no 'pattern' variation option (escalation, intermittent, etc.), however. There are 7 levels of vibration/rotation for the shaft and 7 for the clitoral stimulator to get the combination you prefer. There are 3 motors, allowing you to feel sensation from tip to base. Yum! One for the shaft rotation, 1 for the shaft vibration and 1 for the clitoral stimulator.

The shaft may be gently curved (using your hands) to control how much or how little rotation is desired. Gently bending it slightly forward and up (i.e. towards you when inserted) produces greater rotation, and thus greater internal stimulation. Straightening the shaft (gently) backwards and/or straight up, lessens the rotation, but it will still rotate and vibrate at the desired speed. A straighter shaft will make it perform more like a traditional rabbit vibrator, still with a lot (or a little) of 'vrooom', depending on your mood. Adjusting the shaft with your hands may make a slight creaking/clicking sound, but according to Jopen, this is normal as long as it isn't forced too strongly. This clicking sound should only be heard when it's being manually 'bent' and not when it's in use. If the clicking sound continues during use, however, this indicates that too strong or too much manipulation was used and needs adjustment.

I hope this clarifies a bit more for you.
