Nina Hartley's Advanced Guide to Sex Toys
Nina Hartley has always been a fantastic filmmaker and has done fantastic work as a sex-positive, feminist filmmaker. But this foray into sex toy reviews falls short in light of all her other accomplishments, and will not give anyone any new information about sex toys. Especially since the toys used in the film are beyond the price range of most typical users.

The toys demonstrated in the film look like they would be fun to use.

Amateurish production values; no variety of sex toys; last scene didn't even seem to fit the film.

My partner and I had mixed feelings about this DVD. This DVD has useful information about erotic massage, what kinds of oil to use, and different massage strokes. However, my partner and I disliked a few aspects of this DVD. Not all body sizes/types are covered or represented in this DVD. This makes the DVD not as useful to some couples, as only models of an "average" height/weight are featured. This DVD is also available in book format, which may be more useful to some viewers.

Nina Hartley's Advanced Guide to Oral Sex
My wife and I really enjoyed watching this. We both learned some good techniques, even though we learned more about the female anatomy. Also, after watching this again for the review, I relearned some good techniques for warming up my wife. Besides the orgy at the end which feels slightly out of place, I have no complaints about this DVD.

Penny Flame's Expert Guide to Hand Jobs for Men and Women
I'd love it if my girlfriend could pick up on some of the techniques Penny uses, but she finds the cheesiness in the video so off-putting I can't get her to watch it. So if you're looking for something educational and sexy, you might want to look to a book on the topic or at handjob fetish videos. On the other hand, I found the sex scenes sexy and entertaining. All in all, the DVD had good tips and techniques, but it feels inconsistent throughout, jumping from masturbation basics to using advanced toys. Furthermore, the small tips that can be immediately employed (with your own fingers and hands) are scattered throughout the video and very difficult to find again should you want to review them.
