Suggestions for Nipple Stimulation?
I am thinking about purchasing something to stimulate my nipples. I've never used any toys before and would love to get your opinions and suggestions.

What type of nipple are you? (With descriptive diagram!)
I just read this article on one of my favorite sites (link) and found out that I have puffy nipples! What type are you? See illustration below and.

They are going to tingle. I'd say if you feel fairly numb or the pain is more than you can stand, or the nipple goes white, I'd take it off and warm it up.

It's a kind of "learn as you go" curve. Definitely if you have discoloration the next day, you've left them on too long. I'd go with the beginning of loss of feeling or severe pain to take them off. They should be intense feeling, but not excruciating.

You know, I wonder that too. Sometimes, I can leave them on for about thirty minutes to forty five minutes, but the last time, I had them on for all of five minutes and had to take them off. It was so painful, I burst into tears. I cried for like, twenty minutes and couldn't touch my nipples. I have no idea, but I guess I agree with P'Gell, its a learn as you go thing.

Maybe I need to be educated, what is the pleasure sensation that clamps are supposed to provide? My wife and I tend to exhibit opposite sex behavior, emotionally and physically. I'm the one with the sensitive nipples, I love to have them sucked and vibrated. So I decided to explore nipple toys. I got a set of clamps, but I had to have them very tight to get them to stay on. After only a few minutes the tingly burny feeling was too much, the afterburn was intense enough that they have been hanging on the ears of a stuffed gargoyle ever since.

I think it also depends on which kind of clamp you use. The tweezer kind seems to need to be tighter to stay put, but the butterfly-type clamp stays on with less pressure.

Hm, I have the tweezer clamps, and they are adjustable. So, when my guy puts them on, he can fix it so that they are pleasurable without being too much to handle. I tried to use them on him, and they slipped off and cut his nipple open, I felt so bad. We actually haven't used them since they hurt me to the point of tears. I think that what you seek in pleasure, depends on what you enjoy in bed.

I wonder if maybe it depends on where you're at in your cycle too? Sometimes nipples and breasts can be MUCH more sensitive than other times due to hormonal fluctuations and changes. Maybe that had something to do with your extra amounts of pain?

As far as I can remember, I wasn't close to or on my period, the end or beginning. I thought about it, but it isn't in my memory, and it was pretty recent. Thanks though, I'm careful about all I do around that time. The first time I used them, I was close to tears too. But this time, it was full blown, curled up on the bed, hands over chest, tears dripping hotly crying. Maybe it was because of we hadn't used them and I just got sensitive again.

I hope the gargoyle enjoys them.
