What is the best plug sizes for beginners?

Contributor: lalapetitee lalapetitee
I'm new to anal and I would like to experiment a little more with it. So far I have only used a 1" plug but the material was awful & uncomfortable. Can anyone recommend good sizes & maybe a specific plug?

I would recommend for you the NJoy Pure Plug Medium. link
(Or the large for larger framed or more experienced folks).

-Well worth the price. The small tends to fall out.

I don't suggest the Pure Plugs straight off. They're metal, and, while very comfortable, they are very unforgiving.

The Bootie is well liked around here, though I don't own it. Joe Rock is also a good choice.

Basically, you're looking for about the 1.25" in diameter range. You could go up to 1.5" in diameter, but no larger than that, as a beginner. Warm up a lot if you go above 1.25" in diameter.

Stick with silicone--it's soft, forgiving, and generally comfortable.

I am also looking for a plug to start out with. I love the looks of the Njoy, but they certainly do look unforgiving and intimidating.

I'd probably go with the Fun Factory Bootie (a nice sized silicone plug), or the Pure Plug Medium (quite expensive, but made of stainless steel and will last you forever).
