Glass vs Metal

I prefer stainless steel (I only trust Njoy) over glass because it doesn't break as easily.

I like the weight and temperature-retaining capabilities of steel, but I like how visually beautiful glass can be and the greater availability of shapes.

Pretty similar. It depends on your preference on a few points.

Durability- Yes, glass is more breakable than metal, but most glass toys are made of tempered glass and are very very hard to break, so this should be a marginal concern at best. And metal, if not treated properly, can rust.

Weight- In most cases metal toys will be heavier than glass toys.

Appearance- Glass toys in general are colorful, while metal is simple and shiney. Each material can take a number of shapes and sizes, and most often they could be mistaken for art if left out on a table. With glass you can find your favorite color or combination of colors... unless of course your favorite color is glossy silver. Then go with metal.

Texture- In general, glass toys offer more texture options than metal. You don't see many texture options with metal, but there is the njoy eleven (if you can take it)

I agree with the above comment - I love the look of glass. I just ordered a glass dildo and I can't wait to get it!

I haven't tried metal toys yet but I really want to. I love my glass toys and would like to add some metal ones to my collection.

I haven't tried steel and I have only tried 1 glass toy. I liked the texture of the glass toy.

The Njoy wand is supposed to be super nice. They also make a top of the line butt plug. I like glass because many of the toys look like artwork.

I love metal over glass for right now. Only, because I haven't tried glass yet. I do love the looks and the many different designs of the glass toys however.
