Hi Alison (very cool to talk to you in real time!)

Pavlovian...I like that. I get that way when I see a new book from Cleis. I don't think I'll ever get through all of them, but at least it's fun to try!

I love paper books, too. Of course! The other thing is that at the moment, I can't afford to print full-length books. Sad, sad, sad. Maybe someday. Fingers crossed.

Oh I still love my good old fashioned books and yes...I love my bookshelves full of books also. I could never be one of those people that goes all to ebooks but there are sometimes that I just really need to read something and usually it is erotica...but only certain kinds that I will get in ebook form. Like I said...still have to have some that I can read manually! *G

Can I just say that the iPod Touch makes an awesome in-the-dark erotica reader? ;-)

Alison, In Red Hot Erotica, I found some of the stories to be a bit more R rated. They were good, but a bit more like soft porn as opposed to XXX. Is that common in erotica books?
True, and I was wondering if the decision not to publish stories that are more explicit is based on making it interesting to a broader public?

Which reminds me of the first story of 'Pleasure Bound', it's like half a page, and has nothing really erotic in it, except for being filled with the undercurrent of the passion to come; it's like taking in your breath in excitement before turning the page to see what follows.

Best Bondage Erotica 2 is probably still my favorite BDSM Erotica book so far. Have very fond memories of it and all too. The rest of thoes are good, though I haven't read Slave to Love *quite* yet.

That in itself could make a fun masturbation story.

I may have to check that book out. There was a great bondage story in Red Hot Erotica called "It’s Just Not Cricket". It had a great twist to it.

That is a very sad state of the sexual economy...when we can't afford to have the kind of books that are desired in paper only in electronic form.

Sounds like a perfect way to start an anthology...I love it when books start out that way. It's like that moment when the climb to the top of the rollercoaster starts.

I think one of my favorite things is how you cover such a broad arena of erotica from voyeurism/exhibition, BDSM, the short-shorts, anal sex, light, dark, everything in the middle, even holidays LOL!

I agree. Sad state of the economy in general. I love real books. I buy them all the time. I don't care for reading a book on my puter, and I know I wouldn't like an e-reader.

Oh right, totally. One of my favorite stories as well. I liked the hunting part too.

I firmly believe that any new technology is invented to facilitate sexual pleasure. Or maybe that's just because that's what I use it for.

I've yet to read any BDSM Erotica yet. I'm quite interested to get my hands on some though. ^_^

I never knew how much erotica there was in the electronic world. I figured it was all porn that I wouldn't care for, but now I'm finding some of my favorite authors have books that are only electronic, so I'm going to have to buckle one of these days.

I love having a physical book to hold in my hands as well. Though, I am guilty of reading online fanfic from time to time. >_> I'm weak. Crossovers of my favorite shows/movies are fun. Don't judge me.

Heh if we didn't have erotic technology I wouldn't be sitting here dreaming about my next shipment of vibrating toys! Like making bombs out of great new technology one of the great things about humans is their ability to make sex toys out of just about anything!
