Tori ~ Do Not Disturb is on tap for discussion August 24 (along with Mile High Club, both edited by Rachel Kramer Bussel).

My book, Fairy Tale Lust, will be one of two fairy tale collections we discuss in October, along with Mitzi Szereto's fabulous In Sleeping Beauty's Bed.

I prefer third person when reading aloud as a couple, because "I" just feels awkward sometimes. When I read alone it doesn't matter though.

For me it doesnt matter much. I've written in both and I prefer first person when writing but I think as a reader first person might help my imagination especially if I want to pretend it's me in the story. As long as every sentence doesnt start with "I" and "She or He" I'm good though.

I'm more for first person. I think it's simply because I tend to put myself in the position of the subject of the story and it translates easier in my mind not to think of myself of 'the girl', but as "I".
What if the first person is a man? Does it change your enjoyment of the story?

ROFL any thing remotely sex that I buy gets reviewed here if there's a page for it! The real sickness is when you and your partner(s) start reviewing toys in the middle of testing them...even after the review has been written. My guys will suggest things for the follow up!

I'm a first-person lover. It really depends on what the first person is though. I'd much prefer to read from the Dominant's point of view in erotica, but that's extremely, extremely rare. (I think I might have just found my erotica niche?)

Haha, I like when someone notices my books and gets embarrassed for me. It makes me smile, and generally makes them more nervous. I think they are afraid I'm going to jump on them and ravage...

You know, there should actually be a collection specifically for couples to read aloud like you do.

I enjoy the male perspective and some of my favorite erotica writers are men. I think after reading so many Black Lace for so many years when I finally encountered a male writer, it made for a new experience.

Not at all, it's quite interesting to get another point of view. It's odd at first, but it's still exciting.
