Pirates by Digital Playground

Overall, we really liked this movie. The cinematography and special effects were good (as they should be, since it had a budget over over a million dollars! The storyline is similar to Pirates of the Caribbean, with many of the stars that you would expect to find in a big-budget adult film. While the dialogue is stilted (which is to be expected with an adult film), and the scenes are incredibly improbable (again to be expected in an adult film), overall it is one of the better movies I've seen.

The plot is reasonably slow, giving you the choice of watching the movie (which I prefer), or jumping ahead to the scenes that interest you most. It has many fun twists that make the movie enjoyable. There are a wide variety of types of scenes, so that the movie is for every taste (unless, of course, you don't like pirates, or adult movies).

This movie is also available as an R rated movie (can be found at Blockbuster, which about gave me a heart attack the first time I saw it there!), but it is 49 minutes shorter (and it is nowhere near as graphic).

If you're looking for a first adult film, or another to add to your growing collection, this movie is definitely one that you should keep on the top of your list. Keep in mind that the actors and actresses are much more attractive (and clean) than real pirates would be (of course, who would watch it with dirty, ugly pirates!)

Buy this movie for yourself on DVD or Blu-Ray (although Blu-Ray scares me with adult movies... sometimes you can have too much detail!), and enjoy yourself! Set aside a couple of hours (or days) and enjoy yourself... even more if you bring a friend or three!
