Ziggy by SSA Glass is an attractive glass butt plug that can be used by either gender, and for a variety of reasons. This plug is best suited for anal play, but isn't long enough to be thrust like a probe. This, like all butt plugs, is designed to provide the wearer with a stretched or full feeling and can be used in preparation for anal sex or for larger toys.

For solo play, this toy works well for any gender. The base at the bottom makes it anal safe, but is still short enough that your vaginal toys won't bump into it during use. This will slightly depend on anatomy, so results will vary. Men can also use this toy during masturbation, and the tip of the toy may even stimulate the prostate through contracting your muscles. You can wear this toy in and out of the house since it remains comfortable, even for hours at a time.

Since the base doesn't cover or get too close to the vaginal opening (on most women), this toy can be worn during intercourse, whether you're on the giving or receiving end. Certain positions will be more comfortable than others, you'll just have to see what works for you and your partner. Using this along with oral sex is also great. This type of glass might already be found in your house, only you'd find it in the kitchen. It's most commonly known as Pyrex and is designed to hold up well to temperature changes. Unlike other glass types, this material is less dense and will be more likely to break into chunks rather than shatter should something happen to it.

The surface of the glass is totally smooth and without texture. For this reason, it glides easily over the skin and doesn't require much lubricant in order to comfortably insert it. Being glass, this toy is rigid and doesn't have any give to it and has no moving parts. The shape of the toy does provide an interesting sensation though. As the toy is inserted it provides a popping sensation as each 'bubble' slips inside. This is a great feeling that shouldn't bother even those with texture sensitivities since it doesn't exactly have to do with the texture of the toy.

The design of this toy is where it really shines. It's a deep, emerald green in color and is beautiful to look at! Keep in mind that since this is a glass toy that has no give to it, it will feel a little larger than a softer material of the same size. As long as you take it slow, you should be totally fine.

The look is somewhat discreet since it doesn't resemble a body part, but someone who's familiar with sex toys would probably know what it's for. For that reason, you could take it with you while you travel, and would cause less embarrassment if someone were to see it than a realistic looking toy.

Ziggy is easy to use and comfortable to wear. When first inserting, there's little concern about the plug causing discomfort since it starts off small and gives you the chance to pause as needed before inserting all the bulges. The one issue I had with it was that the weight of the plug made it feel like it was going to come out. I don't typical wear plugs while I'm up and about, so it was a new sensation for me and I assume that's what the issue was, because there was no slippage, and was nicely in place.

The glass base was comfortable even while sitting on a hard surface. Funny as it sounds, I was a little concerned that certain movement would cause the plug to make a sound against my kitchen chairs, but it didn't. It was probably a silly concern of mine that doesn't actually make sense, but it remains tucked between your butt cheeks and doesn't come in contact with furnature.

Ziggy can be cleaned using warm water and antibacterial soap or your favorite sex toy cleaner. If you're planning on sharing with someone else, switching orifices, or just want to give a more thorough clean, you can put it on the top rack of your dishwasher, or you can wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution. There isn't a lot of small spaces for bacteria to get trapped, but make sure you clean well between the bubbles.

This type of glass is compatible with all lubricant types, but you'll want to avoid oil-based if you're using it for vaginal insertion. Also keep in mind that you won't need as much lube for this plug as you would for other materials. A little goes a long way and this smooth piece gets very slippery.

The packaging is very simple. Ziggy comes wrapped in bubble wrap and is inside a velvet red pouch with a black drawstring as it travels to you. The pouch is sized just right to fit the toy, but doesn't offer any padding. The bubble wrap can be used as an additional barrier against surface damage until the air is gone, or you can recycle it right away. If you choose to purchase a padded pouch, the included one could be used for some other small toy you have. No information is included with the toy, the company name isn't even on the packaging or product.

After trying out a couple different anal toys, this was my first experience with glass. I was very impressed with how easily it slips inside, even with me having only a little experience.
