Ziggy plug - sex toy by EdenFantasys - review by MrWill

An amazing glass intro to anal plugs, the Ziggy doesn't fail to do the job. I think this toy would be great for anyone already into anal play that might be looking for a first glass plug, or for the anal experts that are looking for something a little slimmer for an extended wear or warm up toy. This toy (depending on the user) could be used for vaginal play, though I think the best use would be anal. If you choose to use Ziggy vaginally, you should certainly be cautious as to not ram it against the cervix.


The flared base is more than safe enough for anal use.


As you can see in the picture there is no real slope from the neck to the base.

Temperature play is certainly something to be considered, as the Ziggy can also be heated or cooled to your liking. I do want to caution users to be careful... too hot or too cold and you could end up seriously regretting things.

One could absolutely use Ziggy while out and about town.

Ziggy is made entirely of Borosilicate Glass, which is an incredibly safe 10 on the material safety scale. Borosilicate glass is completely non-porous, and perfectly safe for temperature play!

All lubes are perfectly safe to use with this toy (and all borosilicate glass toys). If you intend to share Ziggy or switch from anal use to vaginal use you can always sterilize with a bleach solution, by boiling, with your choice of toy cleaner (I recommend: Eden Toy and Body Wipes just because they are easy to tote with you if ya need them, and incredibly inexpensive).

There is no taste or icky smell to speak of upon opening, and Ziggy will just feel like well molded glass. Glass is of course a hard material and can be broken (though borosilicate glass is less likely to break, and should break into large pieces instead of small shards) so you should definitely be cautious while handling Ziggy, as when it is lubed up... it is very slippery.

Ziggy isn't made to be a realistic toy, and as such doesn't feel like a realistic penis. I would definitely recommend absolute beginners start with a softer toy for their first anal escapades, though with caution, Ziggy would be fine for any user.

Ziggy is designed wonderfully.


As you can see in the picture, there are three distinct "bulbs" on a neck, with no real taper between them, so it may be something a little different for most. The base is a T-shape, with a narrow section towards the neck.

My measurements were nearly the same as the manufacturers, coming in at:

Total Length: 4.5 inches
Insertable length: 4.25 inches, as the base isn't actually a half inch thick
Circumference: 4.5 inches
Diameter: 1.5 inches
Neck diameter: 0.75 inches

I didn't weigh Ziggy, though the manufacturer lists it at 5.2 oz which seems about right in hand.

It isn't a heavy plug by any means, but you can definitely feel it.


I wouldn't recommend air travel with this plug if you are easily embarrassed, though if you are willing to try to start a sex positive dialogue with the TSA then you could certainly try! It's not an overtly sexual looking item, but I can't think of anything I would compare Ziggy to as a lie about it's intended purpose. Eclectic art might work though!

The Ziggy by SSA Glass performed wonderfully. No slipping out to speak of in 4+ hours of wear, and while there were moments when I had to shift while seated it was never horribly uncomfortable. No motor or batteries to deal with, and it offers great sensation. I do believe experts will want a larger variant of this toy though, as it is slim compared to some of the larger products available.

When heated it stays warm for a while, and stays pretty cool for long enough to be worth it.

To take care of this toy, I would simply wipe it down with a good toy cleaner or wipe. You can also boil Ziggy for sterilization purposes (if you are patient you can even let it cool quite a bit for some hot temperature play!). No instructions to speak of, so I'll provide some of my own:

Step one: Lube Ziggy
Step two: Lube your ass
Step three: Take as long as you need to for comfortable insertion

You could definitely use the velvet bag for other purposes if you wanted to, but it isn't incredibly large.

The bubble wrap can be recycled, as can Ziggy itself. Short of the bag tearing, I see no reason that I will ever throw the carrying bag away!

I love Ziggy. I lubed it up with some ID Velvet and slowly inserted it to feel the different bulges.

It fit comfortably, and offered great sensations!

Warning for those new to glass: A little lube goes a long way. This is my first glass toy so I used less lube than I thought would be necessary, and it was perfect!
