is glass really safe as a regular didlo

That's like trying to compare a blow up mattress to a real bed, they are so different lol I really don't know what to tell you on this one but maybe if you have a plastic toy try that since it also doesn't have any give?

It feels larger because it has no give. I like it, but be careful about choosing a size if you're used to silicone.

I'm scared to insert something that is not flexible. . . but it seems popular.

it depends on the shape and size. The glass is smooth with no drag, while the silicone has drag.

I started out using glass and like it - but it is necessary to make sure that you use an appropriate size and texture for your level of comfort. One time my wife did get over zealous and I ended up with hemorrhoids - luckily the damage was limited and healed completely. Silicone is safer - and we use it more often these days.
