The Mood Naughty Plug is by the California based Doc Johnson company. This plug is designed to be worn in the anus. Mood Naughty has the flange'd base to prevent it from getting lost in the rectum. They are primarily worn for a short period of time to prepare the anus for anal sex by stretching a relaxing. Men, women and everything in between would find this plug suitable, given the size, flexibility, and materials. For these reasons, it makes for great wear for lengthy periods of time.

This size of Mood plug is aimed for beginners. It's tapered and slim. It's also one of the smallest plugs I own.
It's a must-have for anyone just starting out with anal play!

The Mood Naughty is made of silicone, which is a solid 10 on the material safety scale. It's completely non-porous, so it can be fully disinfected. It's very smooth and velvety to the touch. It is not a seamless toy. You can feel the seam, but not while it's inserted. There's fair amount of flexibility to the Mood Naughty, especially in the flared base, which helps the curve fit properly to the body. It smoothly glides inside, because of the smoothness of it. It requires just the smallest amount of lubricant. It's completely tasteless and odorless, which is a treat since most toys have some kind of lingering odor.

I like the design of this plug because it's very simple. I chose pink, but it also comes in black. It has a slight taper that makes for very easy insertion. The slim length will surely please a beginner, as it is not at all intimidating.

In my opinion, it's completely travel friendly even if it were in the box. Since a plug is a plug, even though it can be travel friendly, it's not very discreet. You might have a hard time explaining this one if an unsuspecting person stumbled upon it.

I've read a few reviews about how other plugs with similar curved bases prevent vaginal penetration because the base blocks the opening. I do not have that problem with this plug. It fit perfectly. It's non-vibrating and easy to use. As it is made from silicone, it is advised against using silicone lube. Silicone lube will eventually degrade or discolor the toy. A good water-based lube works just fine with the Mood Naughty. The box also says that it is compatible with oil-based lubes, too.

One of my favorite things about wearing a butt plug is when it's worn during sex with my partner; this allows him to feel the plug while he's thrusting. The feeling he gets really isn't that prominent with this one; it's more prominent with the plugs with a rounded bulb. So, I use this one more for anal preparations. I had no problems with it popping out at any point, even when it was heavily lubed. It won't make for great p-spot play, though, as the head is not curved.

It can be a dust/lint/hair magnet, so it might need to be cleaned prior to use if it's not stored properly. Since it's silicone, it is very easy to clean and disinfect. It can be boiled, put on the top rack of your dishwasher, or even cleaned with a mild soap and water. I use my favorite California Exotics toy cleaner or the Eden wipes that I get free with my purchases. Since it can collect dust and hair easily, I'd definitely recommend storing it well. You can store it in its own pouch, or whatever you use for storage. Even keeping it in its own box would be a good idea, since it's so small.

I liked the packing that my Mood plug came in. It was black with little colorful designs and font. It's not discreet at all because it has a transparent cover. There were no manuals or instructions with it, but it's pretty self-explanatory. I think if you're buying a plug, you probably already know how to use it! The box was fairly small at 7 inches in length and about an inch thick.

I do enjoy the Mood Naughty. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. It doesn't give me as much pleasure as some of my other, larger plugs, but I still like it. It's my first plug that's made of silicone (all of mine are glass), and I can see myself definitely trying silicone plugs more often. It's also my first one that has a curved base, and I enjoy that very much. I would, for sure, recommend this plug to a beginner. If I was going to suggest this to advanced users, I would definitely go with the large or medium.
