Mood naughty small plug - butt plug by Doc Johnson - review by ustwo

Easy in, feels good, but tough to get out.

Simply put, if you're a beginner interested in *extended wear* anal play, this plug is a 5-star toy for you. Otherwise, look elsewhere. There are plenty of other more interesting and exciting toys available to suit your needs.
Small, easy in, and very comfortable. Great for newbies interested in extended wear.
Removal is uncomfortable.

This tiny toy is great as a first butt plug for a total beginner if the idea of extended wear turns you on. It's very comfortable. And that's about it. It's really too small to provide any sort of additional stimulation by way of the prostate or double penetration, and if you're looking to do a little bit of thrusting, there are far better beginner toys on the market.

Material / Texture

This toy is made of velvety silicone and rather firm. Beginners to anal toys should not be expecting a squishy and forgiving material. The thin neck is quite flexible, which adds to the comfort once the toy is inserted. There is no smell to the toy itself, but it will pick up the odor of the soap you clean it with.

A note to first time anal players: Understand that the "velvety" silicone users describe has a texture quite similar to a rubber band. Despite its small size, it will require a generous amount of lube for comfort. I personally do not find this texture to be the best for anal penetration in terms of ease and holding lube, but it's very common with anal toys and many people prefer it. In my opinion, a superior alternative to this material could be found in the more matte finish of The Li'l End plug which is also available on EF.

Design / Shape / Size

At a girth no bigger than the average male finger, this toy does just what it's supposed to do: stay put.

The tapered end helps the muscles of the anus to relax and accommodate the plug during insertion. Once you surpass the maximum diameter of 3/4 inches, the anus will quickly contract around the tiny neck of the plug. The uniquely flared and flexible base will keep it from going in too far. The base of the plug is comfortable at all times - sitting, standing, or playing - and sits in the crack almost unnoticed. Future extended-wearers can rejoice, as there's no way this plug is popping out without you pulling it out. The ratio of the tiny neck to the full girth of the plug is too great for the plug to be expelled unintentionally.

Which brings me too my only complaint about the plug: it's tough for me to remove. I find it difficult to relax the outer sphincter when removing this plug, as it requires going from a tiny neck of about 1/4 inch diameter immediately to a 3/4 inch diameter head. This gives my ass little time to relax and adjust for the exit, so the plug kinda "pops" as I pull it through my sphincter. Some people do enjoy this popping sensation, but I'm not a fan. My wife, however, gets a real kick out of watching it.

As an intermediate anal player, I love wearing it while having sex with my wife. It's so comfortable and not at all filling, so I find my anus really relaxes with this plug in. Thus, the slight sliding sensations I get from the neck and base around the opening and just inside of my anus at times feels like a subtle rim job. Really lather the toy with lube and you'll see what I mean. It's also nice to slide in for a solo session.

Honestly, I'm not into wearing butt plugs for an extended period of time (i.e. around the house or in public) but the toy is ideal for those beginners who are into that type of stuff. The base is incredibly comfortable and is virtually unnoticeable. And since it sits in the crack, you won't feel the plug nagging or pulling on your sphincter like some plugs with a wider base. It probably wouldn't take a beginner more than a few sessions at home before they were comfortable in public. Thus, I gave it a five star rating.

Care and Maintenance

It's silicone. Wash with soap or boil it. Anything else is pretty much overkill as long as you and other users are disease-free. It's only compatible with water and oil based lubes.

Beginners take note. Silicone toys are not compatible with silicone lube. Silicone lubes will ruin your silicone toys.

Thanks for the helpful review. 3/4" diameter is really too small and it's a waste of money to get something of that size.

I didn't realize how small it was until you compared it to the finger, so thanks for that. Great review!
