The Mood Naughty is a slender silicone butt plug made by Doc Johnson. Thanks to the stem and flared base, it is very safe for anal play, which is as one would expect considering that it's meant to be put in your butt.

The Mood Naughty is made from velvety silicone and has no texture apart from the raised Doc Johnson logo on the bottom of the base. I know this is in fact silicone because it passed the flame test.

Since it's so smooth and skinny, I think this would be an ideal butt plug for anyone new to anal play. Also, silicone is much lighter in weight and more yielding in firmness than metal or glass, yet it is just as safe as a sex toy material.

The plug itself has some surface give and will bend, but not as much as the base or stem. Since the silicone is thicker on the plug compared to the stem or base, it's firmer.

I really like the Mood Naughty's design. It's an elongated teardrop shape with a rounded tip and thin base/stem. The base tapers at one end and flares out slightly on the other (I'm not sure why), and it has a bit of a curve to the bottom. Thanks to Mood Naughty's small tip and gradual increase in girth, it's super easy to insert.

Butt plug users who know they like and can handle more girth anally might not get much from a plug this small. But those people probably know that already and would most likely pass this one up for something bigger anyway.

With such an inviting design and modest size, this butt plug is very comfortable to wear. The soft, flexible stem and base fit nicely in between my butt cheeks, much better than any other butt plug I've tried so far. In fact, for extended wear or to use as a warm-up for later activity, this is the most comfortable butt plug I have and the only one I can wear as I go about my day-to-day business, as I'm able to sit down without feeling the base the dig into me or shift to an awkward position.

Mood Naughty does have a very slight visible seam, but luckily I don't feel it. If I had to be picky, and I suppose that's what reviewers are supposed to do, I'd like the base span to be a little shorter. No matter which way I insert this plug, the very tips of the base reach almost to my vaginal entrance. Not enough to block it or cause much hindrance if I want something in my vagina at the same time, thankfully, but I'd prefer it if at least one side was a bit shorter. However, this may be an issue specific to me, and a minor one at that. I honestly don't know if my perineum is shorter than average.

Silicone is an awesome sex toy material. It's nonporous, easy to clean, lightweight, and totally body safe. Since there aren't any motors or electrical components to this butt plug, it's easily washed with soap and water, or you can sterilize it by boiling. Definitely boil it if you plan to share, or if it's been in your ass and you want to insert it anywhere else. Also, remember to only use water-based lube.

I really like the packaging. It's not the least bit garish or tacky--in fact, it's quite classy and elegant compared to how I've seen other products from Doc Johnson packaged. Mood Naughty comes in a black box with a clear window showing the plug inside. The back of the box has a handy chart outlining the features, and that's all you get as far as any kind of product information. Inside the box, the butt plug is held in place by a clear plastic tray. I recycled the packaging and store my Mood Naughty in a clear plastic bag.

Overall, the Mood Naughty butt plug is what it claims to be and does what it's supposes to do very well. I rarely rate a product 5 stars, and if I could give this one 4.75 stars I would. But I can't, so I must round up. Mood Naughty would be a perfect butt plug if there was no seam. I do partially forgive it because I can't actually feel the seam, but I don't like seeing seams on anything that goes in my ass. Also, I would prefer for the base arms to be slightly shorter so they don't reach so close to my vaginal opening. This isn't a huge hindrance or anything, just a personal preference.
