To Plug Into Pleasure

The Pleasure Plug 2 is a great silicone toy for the price. It is really comfortable for solo play, but the base can be slightly irritating if used for long-term wear. It's a plug of a medium size and is good for beginner-intermediate anal play. It is still small enough to allow for some double penetration too and the base does not get in the way.

Use

The Pleasure Plug 2 is a moderately-sized butt plug. Obviously, the main use is to serve as an anal toy that can be inserted and kept in your ass for as long as you wish. If you are a little playful, it is very easy to include a butt plug in a masturbation session. This is probably going to be the main use I'll have for this Pleasure Plug 2.

The shape is so smooth that you can easily tease yourself by using it as a small anal probe. The difference in circumference between the widest point and the neck is not steep and it feels really pleasurable when it is inserted slowly again and again. What I also like is that I can use this butt plug as a dildo or vibrator enhancer, meaning that a smaller-sized vaginal vibrator will feel humongous. So if you have a really special g-spotter that just does not feel large enough, consider using this butt plug at the same time.

Material / Texture

The Pleasure Plug 2 is made of 100% silicone and it is of a moderately firm silicone. There is some give to it, and it reverts instantly back to its shape after being squeezed. The silicone is very similar in density and feel to the Fun Factory silicone used for their dildos. It is not completely smooth and it has a velvety surface. The neck is flexible and will allow the plug to follow some of your movement to optimize the comfort.

Pure silicone is hypoallergenic, non-porous and does not contain latex or phthalates. However, it does attract lint easily, especially the very bottom of the base. That part is very sleek, smooth and very shiny, which makes it different than the rest of the toy and a lint-magnet. Especially since it will be the part that will be resting on your furniture or on your bed waiting to be used after being washed, you'll feel like you'll need to wash it again.

You can also see that the edges were cut with a knife or scissors to remove some extra silicone off the edges. That also disrupts the beautiful golden shimmer that dances on the surface of the silicone. However, you will not often have the chance to admire the bottom of the base when you're playing on your own with it.

Design / Shape / Size

I really like the orange color with the golden shimmer in the silicone. It's bright, and it stands out in my toy box. The plug has a very basic shape and with that orange color, it kind of reminds me of a carrot with smooth edges. The total length of the Pleasure Plug is 4 ½” and it has an insertable length of 3 ¾”. The widest part is located 2 ½” from the tip. The neck has a diameter of 7/8” The base is 2 ¼” long and 1 ¼” wide, and is large enough to be harness compatible if you want to try it.

The size and shape seem appropriate for everyone. It's beginner-friendly, because there are no sharp edges in the insertable part, and it increases gradually in size. The rounded tip starts with a diameter of ½” and gradually widens to a diameter of 1 ¼”. There are no surprised to be had when using this toy, which can be a good thing if you just want to have a nice ride.

The Pleasure Plug may seem small or bland for an advanced user, but an intermediate user should be able to appreciate the pleasant sensations that the Pleasure Plug offers. Since I intend to use this plug combined with vaginal toys, I can appreciate the lack of special textures on the plug, and it helps with making the double penetration smoother.

Performance

I kept it inserted for a few hours and the insertable part felt really nice, it never felt too large. The sensations were subtle, but consistent during wear, and I could never forget that it was there. It is really comfortable and I never felt poked by the tip of this butt plug, and it even made me realize that I could easily handle something larger.

However, I had some issues with the edges of the base when I would walk or sit for a long period of time. I'm not sure if it's because of the size of my butt, but it would slightly poke and bite the insides of my butt cheeks. Just so that you'll tolerate as slight discomfort, since the insertable part feels just that good. Although, after a while, it started to feel irritated. So, I tucked the sides of my cotton panties on the sides of the butt plug to cushion the edges as to create some sort of artificial wedgie, and it did improve the situation.

I must say that during masturbation I did not feel the base at all. I suppose that as long as I do not squeeze that butt plug between my butt cheeks, everything will be fine. Although that kind of limits the uses I can get out of this one. It was a little larger than I expected, but that's my own fault, and I am not able to use as many dildos with this butt plug as I would like.

Care and Maintenance

I really like this material, because I like everything I use to be low maintenance. I use a wild antibacterial soap to wash all my silicone toys, but a toy cleaner would work as well. Silicone can be sanitized by boiling it for 5 minutes, put on the top rack of the dishwasher with no soap and washed in a 10% bleach solution. You can also put a condom over this plug if you want to share with someone else during play, and the whole plug will be covered.

Silicone-based lubricant should not be used on this sex toy, or it could have a reaction that could break the toy. No one wants that, so please use water-based or oil-based lubricants.

Silicone toys could be separated from other grades of silicone that may be present in toys or even lubricant bottles who could leak by accident. A plastic bag, like the one the toy was packaged into can be used for storing the Pleasure Plug, or a lint-free bag not too heavy with dyes.

Packaging

The Pleasure Plug 2 comes in a plastic bag that is held shut a folded paperboard stabled to the plastic. In any case, it may seem basic, but with a low-cost packaging like that, you can get a better value for your toy and it has a lesser impact on the environment.

The butt plug did not come with instructions, but at this point, it would probably feel insulting to be given instructions about how to use a butt plug.

Follow-up commentary
There is not much else to say, this plug is pretty straightforward and my opinion about it is still the same. I like it when I take it out, but I have others that I like more since their base fits my body better. It's got a nice size between smaller and medium for warming up to a larger toy or use with some light thrust motion to tease myself.

I do not take it out often, but I have to consider that I do not use my butt plugs that frequently to begin with. I should definitely store them in a more convenient place to use them more, including this one.

Nice review! I've been looking for a plug that'll stay in for a longer period of time, so it's good to hear that this one will work for that. My current plug doesn't quite have enough length at the base and is very big, so I tend to have trouble keeping it in.
