Tristan - anal toy by Vixen Creations, Inc - review by Valyn

The Tristan plug is an amazing butt plug for most users. At the very widest point, it can be a little hard for beginners, but with enough lube and slow wiggling, anyone can use this toy. The Tristan is discreet enough to be worn out and about for some exciting fun, or nice to wear around the house.

Where the base flares out, I found it was a little too wide for me for extended use; but I think if it was worn out and about, while being active, I may not have noticed it so much.

The Tristan plug is made from silicone, which is awesome. It feels smooth, and just squishy enough.

I didn't notice a very strong smell, though I did sniff it right out of the package and I only noticed a slight rubbery smell. Before using it, though, I washed it with a citric-y soap, and then it smelled like oranges, lol. I think the Tristan will absorb smells for a little while, then go back to the very slight rubbery smell.

The pictures on the site don't quite do the Tristan justice in looks. It is a dark purple, with shimmery, fog-like swirls all around it. In the pictures it looks black, or some indistinguishable dark color, but the real thing is a beauty. From the side, it looks like a spade or a puffed out triangle that is on a column with a wide base. The Tristan makes a lovely display toy, but is also small enough to hide discreetly in a toy chest, or in a suitcase.

The size is very adequate for most average users. For beginners to anal toys, the widest point of the head may be a little too big, and might require some practice.

The Tristan is an amazing performer. It only needs a drop of lube, because the material allows lube to be spread easily. I found the biggest part of the head a little bit big, but I was also a tad overzealous when trying it. A second shot and slower pushing, and in it went. Inside it felt great, putting just enough pressure towards my g-spot, to be a constant source of pleasure. Not for a second did I worry about it slipping out, with the design it has.

The one small downside I found when wearing it for about an hour in the house, was that on the base, the widest points put a slightly uncomfortable pressure on my ass cheeks and inner thighs. I think if I were to wear the Tristan out while walking around, or perhaps even exercising, that discomfort may not occur; or at least be as noticeable.

The Tristan is wonderful in that it is non-porous, and can be disinfected. It can be boiled or put into the dishwasher (top rack), to disinfect. Because I don't plan on sharing, and only will use this anally... as intended... I will probably just wash it with soap and water most of the time, and then disinfect it if I feel I need to.

Though the Tristan does not come with a carrying case, I plan on using the original package as it's holding place.

The package is a plastic cylinder with a red top and bottom. Personally, I found the packaging to be very tasteful, like a display item, and that's how I want my Tristan to feel: like a lovely display item.

I would be proud to give the Tristan as a gift, as I find the packaging almost elegant. Inside the package, there is also a little card with a message from Tristan Taormino. I love getting messages from the creator of a toy; it makes me feel like the item was made just for me, and the maker wants me to know it.

I love this toy. With all things anal, I've always been somewhat like a little kid; I'm very reluctant to get started, but once I do start, I can't get enough! The Tristan has totally changed that. With my Tristan plug in my toy arsenal, I really look forward to anal play. The toy is beautiful and great to play with, and I plan on getting more of Ms. Taorminos' genius creations.

I was super excited to get my Tristan; I had heard very good things about Tristan Taorminos' creations, and WOW, were they true. This plug instantly became my favorite, and one that will be often used.

Quickly, I learned that I needed to push it in slowly, but once in, it felt wonderful. I used a little lube, but somehow I still got lube all over my hands; which did let the Tristan slip and slide some in my lubed-up hand. However, it didn't wiggle around too much as I held the base, and was still pretty easy to get in as slippery as my hands were.

The Tristan stayed put the entire time it was in, and even when wiggling, walking, jumping and moving, I never worried at all about it slipping out. The thick neck is slightly less than an inch wide, and kept me feeling filled and wanting anal sex. I didn't try using a condom on it, but the Tristan is not a toy I ever plan on sharing. It's mine I tell you, mine!
