Bind Yourself in Comfort
The rope is cheap, but it isn't worth the price. This product does its job, but it's not exciting in the least.Published: February 25, 2011
Pros:
Silk, easy to use, Inexpensive, Comfortable
Cons:
High Maintenance, Bad Quality
Follow-up commentary
3 months after original review
The rope has started to fray, and it has lost all of its grip. The last time I used it, a knot slipped and cut off circulation to my boyfriend's hands. This rope is cheap, and it shows.

"fetish fantasy series japanese silk rope" -- not silk
-
LazyNinjalink manufacturers page states that this rope is actually made out of cotton.
Talk about a misleading/lying branding system. Is Japanese Silk a trademark of theirs that they make out of chinese cotton?

'Silk' bondage rope listed under 'suspension kits'
-
Hey, Eden? I would like to respectfully suggest you remove this from the 'suspension kits' category. This type of rope is *not* safe for suspension. It's not real silk (Pipedream has confirmed it is actually a cotton/polyester blend), so can fray easily, stretch, and is just a poor idea if you don't want to risk dropping your submissive on their head.

I made sure to put in my review that the rope is not intended for suspension or partail suspension

what are they made of
-
This is a question that could easily be answered by reading the product page! If you just scan it really quickly you can see that hey, these silk ropes are made of rope! It also gives you a link explaining the care of the materials, which is this link! A lot of these questions are better left off of the forums! :)

But yeah, materials are always listed on the product's page, billybobtoy. It'll always be to the left of the product's picture, and it'll link to some basic care instructions. Though if you need more in-depth information, don't hesitate to ask.

Thank you for viewing Fetish Fantasy Series Japanese silk rope – sex toy review page!

Great review, I can't wait to grab a few of them!
thank you for your review
Good review...
It saddens me that it attracts so much dirtiness and is "bad quality." Although, being a beginner with rope/bindings/etc. I may still get it for a first try.
I've gotten my hands on some silk rope from Pipedreams, (they sell a 200 foot length on a huge spool), and spent all of yesterday cutting it into good lengths and whipping the ends. I'm hopeful that the rope I have will be better than this shorter length, but I'm not expecting too much. So far I've found it comfortable across the skin -- but the plushness, shine and give of the rope have me worried. Especially your comment about the rope slipping on a knot!
Thanks for a great review, I'll be keeping your comments in the back of my head as I use my rope.
Thanks for the review, and the warnings therein. Do you know if this is real silk, or synthetic? Would I be able to melt the ends to keep them from fraying?
love your review. I just wanted to put in a FYI. Pipedream says this rope is not intended for suppension .
thanks for the review
That's terrifying! I wouldn't want a knot to slip during play.
Thanks for the warnings...I'm trying to find a good length of nice rope for regular use...obviously, this isn't it.
Scary. Thanks for this review!
