Hog-tied - restraints by Sportsheets - review by Saurou

I’m a fan of Sportsheets and my girlfriend all trussed up, so the Hog-tied restraints were an obvious choice. The restraints are well made--the connections are solid without being stiff; I wouldn’t suspend with it, but I’m not worried about snapping. The cuffs are lined with fake fur and fasten with Velcro, so they are not going to be as secure as buckled-cuffs. Your plaything can easily un-velcro these, but not from pulling alone. This also means that they are easy to release if you need to undo the bondage quickly for safety.

Before play we gave them a “dry run.” The cuffs are comfortable and the Velcro makes them very adjustable. If you have tiny wrists, these might not fit as tight as expected. With the restraint in the front, there wasn’t much confinement, although there is enough to get the desired psychological effect. With the arms and legs tied behind the back--this toy shines. It renders your sub pretty much helpless, spread-out, and vulnerable. I had her roll over onto her back while hogtied (lovely display of wiggling/rocking to achieve that) and the tie was still secure but not too painful under her body.

Hog-tied is wonderfully effective for setting a scene or role-playing. The night we tested it out, I was glad for the Velcro: unlike my buckled-cuffs, these could be strapped on in complete darkness when I “broke” into our bedroom. From my partner’s perspective, she found the tie just the right ratio of comfy to uncomfortable: just uncomfortable enough to have the pain augment the pleasure, but still comfortable that she was able to stay in the restraints for over an hour and still be fucked. I did end up undoing one ankle cuff when fucking her just for ease of entry, but I’m sure this not necessary.

In the morning, we found the cuffs left no bruises or Velcro burns (and, boy, did she struggle!) and only a little soreness where one ring had rubbed her hand. It also left her limbs satisfyingly achy all day.

All that said, this product’s effectiveness will depend on how flexible you are. Haslin is on the average end and so this product got her in a nice position without stretching her to unwanted pain. Those on the less flexible side may find the hogtie position too uncomfortable. Having a joint condition, I’m extremely flexible and this product on its own offered absolutely no restraint. What’s so great about this product, though, is its versatility. As us girls know from rabbit-vibes, no toy is going to fit everyone’s anatomy perfectly. You have to make adjustments and this toy is easy to amend. For me, that means attaching ropes to the available rings and tying them down. I suggest you try out the hogtie position on your own with some rope and cuffs and see how you like it. If you do, this is an amazing product to make your bondage play a lot easier, comfier, and exciting.
