This is a very basic beginners hog-tie. This tie kit features 4 removable clip on cuffs that are faux fur lined and attached with metal "dog-leash" style clips. The 4 cuffs then attach to a 4 point ring system that is attached via nylon loops and rivets onto a metal central ring. The cuffs are useful as they can be used literally anywhere you want to clip a cuff so you can attach them to chain or rope or a 4 point bed harness (and they are the same cuffs as many of the 4 point harnesses). The central ring is solid but the attachment points look like your standard key rings. Because of this, I would recommend that you do not attempt to struggle too hard and if the person being cuffed is very strong don't rely on this as your only source of restraint. The cuffs are fastened around the wrists and ankles using Velcro, which, when secured properly, works quite well at keeping the cuffs on and snug.

The cuffs are made of a faux fur/microfiber padding that has a nylon strap of velcro sewed on to close them as well as the "dog-leash" style clips. I would imagine the padding can be washed however I do not think the safety rating of this product should fall in the "metal" category. If any fluids get on the padding or the nylon rope, it's not possible to sterilize it.



The central ring seems fine, and I would imagine the cuffs would hold if pulled at a moderate force, however I worry the key-rings holding the cuffs to the ring would easily spread apart given enough force and let the cuffs out of their grasp.

This toy met my basic use case of hog-tying a girl up, however, I find it rather difficult to get the clips attached to the central ring so it helps to have the bottom sit still while you try to fasten it. I have also used the cuff portion of the set for several other scenes where I tied my bottom to rope, chain or the bed. The versatility of having 4 good cuffs is worth the purchase but I don't know how the whole kit stands on it's own.

Clean dirt off the cuffs and the non-metal parts. Because the metal is part of the design, you cannot wash them in the machine but typically you can just wash them by hand to clean up any dirt from the surface. Since it is impossible to sterilize this set, if a partner gets blood or any fluid on the microfiber portion of the cuff I would recommend giving these cuffs to them and considering the pair to be fluid bonded to that partner. Since these aren't super pricy it shouldn't be a big deal to get another set if you lose one to fluid bonding, but I can appreciate how every penny counts and one doesn't want to just throw good toys at their partners (except when you DO want to do that).

This works for beginners, and it can work for intermediate players, however I would think twice before using this set with an experienced bottom or someone who is very strong. I feel that in the right angle or the right strength the joints would break (much easier than a more sturdy cuff). Also DO NOT use these to support the weight of the bottom. If they are flimsy enough to be pulled apart, they can easily fall apart under sufficient load. Also the padding may not be thick enough for your personal taste.
